Hi There!

Thinking of getting a Keurig since my Senseo is not brewing right lately. I think the B40 would be fine for me since I'm the only one who drinks coffee.

I understand that the cup sizes are either 8 or 10oz?

Wondering if you use the 10oz size with one k-cup is the coffee strong enough or diluted?

Is this a problem with the other models with larger cup sizes?

I'm just used to the Senseo where I just use 2 pods for the larger cup size.

Don't want to make the wrong choice since they are expensive to buy.

Thanks so much!!!

I am tossing around the idea of getting one as well. One thing to cut down on costs is u can get a reusable filter (k kup) to put your fave ground coffee in. Then u could adjust the amount of coffee u use if u want it stronger,

My wife and I got the D70 for Christmas and love it. The D70 has larger settings than 10 oz and I find the coffee to be just fine with one k-cup for 10 oz. It's only when I try the larger settings that I find the coffee to be too weak for my taste.

Don't forget to register your keurig at keurig.com and use the code "WARRANTY" to get two free cases of coffee when you buy two.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I was wondering.

My DH drinks his coffee using the largest cup size (travel mug size). Maybe he's a coffee wimp? I don't know.

i bought the keurig for my hubby. mine has 3 different sizes of cups. but the small cup i think is a little bit bigger than a shot glass...lol anyway i really like the coffee machine! i was torn between the keurig or the tossimo by bosch i think i made the right choice. i did post a thread here to make my final desision. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2354065

We have the B40. Yes, the 8oz cup size is fine.
Our favorites are the Dark Magic and the French Roast if you like strong coffee. The only time I use the 6oz is for hot chocolate usually.

W have huge travel mugs. We run the Keurig on the largest of the three sizes, then open and close the lid and run it on the smallest size using the same K-cup cartridge. Then there is just enough room for a splash of milk before putting the lid on. It is perfect!

I find that any k-cup called "extra bold" is awesome for the larger sizes or th double run-thru.

Thank you for this information. I just bought mine this week.
So if I register my machine and then go to buy some coffee
when I check out it automatically sends 4 cases ?

Yep the extra bold have 30% more coffee in them. I just use the stronger one for my travel cup. So far I do like the Timothy's Donut shop for my travel mug
