Thinking of buying

I have noticed many resales for less than 150 points. If I were to purchase say 100 points, would I still be able to book a vacation? From what I understand you need 150 points to be a vacation club member.

Sure you could. Take a look at the points chart link at the top of the page. 100 points can get you many different accomodations, depending on which DVC resort you stay at, what size room, how long you stay, and when you go.

If you buy direct from WDW there is a 150 point minimum, but you can, as you have seen, get a smaller contract via resale. Many of us on these boards, including me, got into DVC through a resale agent. You are treated exactly the same as a DVC member whether you bought in through Disney or through a resaler.
