thinking of buying dvc Question

SO the only difference is my booking time if its my home resort its 11 month and other resorts its 7 months. So if my wife and I dont really care where we stay its not a bad idea to by vero beach which is $20 cheaper a point

Just some more to think about: There is a difference in MF for SSR and VB. VB is $2.07 per point higher. On a 100 pt. contract, that puts your MF $200.00 per year more for VB. If your upfront cost is $20.00 per point less, you will eat away at that in only 10 years. After that, your VB contract would begin to cost you more and would end earlier than buying direct at a place like SSR.

If the cost per point difference is even less than that, it will be even sooner that you erase that inital savings. If you are thnking that you would like to own this for more than 10 years, buying at VB to go to WDW seems like a cheaper option but in the long run, it probably is not.
