Hi.

This is our first trip to Disney World and I am thinking of splitting out stay.

We will be there July 9 - 15th at All Star Movies. There is me, my DH, 2 DS and 1 DD who is 1 year old. We have the entire trip paid for, hotel, hopper passes and dining.

Do you think it is too late to split the stay? I was thinking of 2-3 nights in a deluxe at the end of the trip. We don't know the hotels in the area, what would you recommend? Is it a big hassle? When you purchase things in the parks and have them send it to your hotel does a split stay delay your things being delivered?

Thanks!

Jess

With the baby in tow? I'd say its not worth the hassle (even though they do make it very easy).

Disney does transfer your luggage for you but it might mess up your package. I would check with CRO first before you do anything. We split our stay last November between POFQ and CSR but we didn't do a package. It was pretty effortless but packing up the room did take a few hours. We were glad that we did it though. :flower:

P.S. I am assuming that you have a package. If not, then it really wouldn't matter and I would say go for it - lol! :flower:

I agree. We have split our stay twice and will try to avoid it in the future. They do make the luggage transfer easy, but I do not feel split stays are worth the hassle with small children.

Just a thought, instead of a split stay between a value and a deluxe, how about a single stay at a moderate resort like Port Orleans?

Whatever you decide, have a magical trip!

Tink
