DH and I are thinking about surprising the kids with a trip to WDW from 4/4 - 4/7.
The resorts are packed - only availability is POR or CS (would pick POR) at rack rate of $169.00
Southwest.com shows AS available, but can't make it work tonight. Will try those tomorrow.
Tell me, are we nuts? We have never gone during peak season. Usually go November or January. However, now that DS is older, we can't pull him out of school again this year (did Disney cruise in Nov.), and this is Spring Break.
What do you think? Are we making the biggest mistakes of our lives? My thought is with staying on property we'll take advantage of early entry and try to stay ahead of the crowd. Maybe leave for a while in afternoon and go back into parks later at night.
Is it doable? or just nuts?
