Thinking About Changing From Nov. To Oct - Couple Questions

We are currently scheduled to stay at POP on 11/13-11/20. I hear that's a good time, but I'm having second thoughts with it being close to the holidays (T-Day, Xmas) and requesting time off work. I was thinking of switching to October and that way we can do MNSSHP which DS loves. I wouldn't incurr any costs for switching flights other than a $25 change fee for each of us ($50).

What weeks should we avoid in October though? I heard Jersey week is sometime during the month right? Last year we went Oct. 18-25th and it was pretty busy during that time, especially the night of the party..it was packed!

Also, I booked room only ressies through and owe about $80 left. The majority of it was paid for from online credit cards (like paypal and webcertificate). Would my money just transfer to the new room only ressie? Or would they refund (which wouldn't get back to me) and then rebook?

Either time is good really. In October the temp is realy good in the early part of the month, but I love Nov too for all the decorations for the holidays and the nights can be cooler. They should just switch the money from one ressie to the other with no problem if you decide to change.

Jersey week is actually in the beginning of November so that won't affect your change at all

I think November is a value month at POP whereas October is a regular rate month, so you'll pay a higher rate if you change to October. You may want to check the difference in price at the POP before you change your airline tickets.
