Thinking about canceling

on the other hand, i'm flying over the atlantic next week and i wish i could drive across the ocean.....
what with hijackers and shoulder fired missiles....
well....if you don't hear anything bad on the news you'll know i got there ok...

To be honest, I think the warning system needs help. Let's get real, I did not even know we had gone from orange to yellow.... and I fly just about every week. I guess I am already immune to yellow and orange. (I figure they will never go back to Green and Red will only happen AFTER the attack)

We went on a cruise after 9/11 instead of flying to England. It was disconcerting passing bomb sniffing dogs to get on the ship. We had divers around the ship and we had the Coast Guard helicopters flying over us all the way out of the channel along with zodiac boats around us. It brought tears to our eyes. We had guards around the ship in the ports along with divers. We never felt safer!

Now when the Coast Guard escorts us out of Port Canaveral, we wave and clap for them. I believe you are safer in that ship than any other place. I believe they are watching all the ships closely anyway. We had a small boat coming toward the Wonder in November and within a fraction of a second, the Coast Guard had them diverted. Made us proud to be an American!
