Hello. I am considering buying an Orange Lake Country Club resale in the West Village. So far I have tried in vain to find an Orange Lake community board like the DVC board on this site in order to ask questions. It is very difficult to get any research done.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.

Have you tried the tug2.net boards?

my parents own at Orange Lakes. It's nice and fun. VERY close to disney using back roads. Some notes: OLCC (as it's referred to on tug BB) has 4 sections--West, North, East, River Island, but all can use all pools, etc. West is oldest--units are either in 5 story tennis villas by t he lake, or duplexes (older). If you are going to use your week, you want to find out where it is. Some like the villas, other like the duplexes. For trading, it does not matter.
OLCC is "converting" to a points system--resale buyers will have to pay a stiff fee ($4K or so). There is no reason to convert, esp. if you plan to use your unit or trade with RCI for full weeks, and esp. if you have a high demand week. Trading with RCI is VERY different than booking through DVC---many have a love-hate relationship with it. I think OLCC is a great family destination--but many will give you their view on TUG--good luck. ps--you should be able to get a high season 2 BR in West village for about $5K or less.
