Thinking about a split stay

Hi
We are one of the June 6 AKV callers We have our ressie at BCV Dec5-10, if possible we are thinking of BCV Dec 5&6 then AKV Dec 7-10! If this works what is the best way to get from BCV to AKV? Should we take a taxi from BCV to AKV, check in and hope for our room? Or just have our luggage moved? On the morning of the move, we plan to have breakfast at Grand Floridian and then do the water mice. We are also doing the dining plan, will there be any problems?

When we have done split stays. We just have Disney transport the luggage for us. We check out of resort #1 and head for our park of the day. Around mid-afternoon we leave the park and take Disney transportation to our new resort and check-in there. Once you are in the room you can call for bell services to bring up your luggage! We have done this twice and was a breeze both times.

I guess I could just pack a bag with our bathing suits and stuff if our room is not ready after our morning at Grand Flordian right? We have ressies the night of the move at 5PM, if our room is not ready are we able to get into our bags if we need clothes from it?
