Well I'm not leaving the house today! It is -37C (-34F) with a windchill of -46C (-50.8F) and is only going up to -26C (-15F). It's been frigid all week but this is the coldest morning so far. I wish I had a fireplace.

It was foggy this morning but now it's sunny and everything is covered in hoar frost. Very lovely.

For those that don't know - hoar frost is ice needles that form after in ice fog that coats everything. It is especially pretty on trees and it sparkles in the sun. I guess there has to be some benefit to it being so stinking cold.

I know how you are feeling! I'm in Winnipeg and we are at a balmy -19C right now. With the windchill it's -29C. And this is the middle of the day when it is supposed to be warmest. By the weekend we will be having a heat wave (-7C) so hopefully things warm up for you too.
