Child turning 3 during trip

Will I have to buy DDP and tickets for her if she is 2 at the beginning of the trip? We are thinking of making another quick trip in June to celebrate her birthday.

You don't need to purchase anything. Age is based on the day you arrive.

Disney's policy is whatever age the child is when you check in, that is the age they are considered for the entire stay...even if the child has a birthday during the trip.

Just wanted to say that we just did this this past weekend. My DS turned 3 on the 7th and we stayed until the 9th. No one ever asked or questioned his age. Hope you have a great trip!

Is this also true when paying out of pocket for meals? So if DD is 2 when we arrive, turns 3 mid-trip, but our last day we eat at Cinderella's breakfast we still don't have to pay for her?

Whatever age your child is the day you check in is the age that child is considered for the duration of the trip. This includes attractions, dining etc.

Just make sure you get a Birthday Button for her. She can proudly say "I'm Three" and she will still be treated as a two-year old for all meals. The only time you will have to pay anything is if you buy something specifically for her at a quick service location, but you would also have to do that if she were only one,.
