The plan for our
Disneyland trip began in September 2007. All summer I had been hoping to arrange a return trip to Disneyland for Halloween again, but David wasn't going for it. I figured that since he goes to Anaheim every January for Supercross with his friend without any of the rest of us, we all should get equal opportunity to go to Anaheim. Which of course means Disneyland.
David said since we couldn't go for Hallween, he wouldn't do his annual Supercross trip. Then one day I stumbled upon Anaheim Suppercross tickets in the Armada.
I chose to keep my discovery to myself for awhile.
Sometime after that, I can't remember if it was days or weeks later, David and I were out shopping and stopped to have lunch at Olive Garden.
While eating lunch I casually mention the Anaheim Supercross tickets. Caught off guard David essentially wanted to know what I wanted in trade. I lobbied for Disneyland for Halloween, but I that got shot down. He did offer up the compromise of Disneyland for the next year at Christmas time. Which I immediately jumped on and said we could go to celebrate Daisy's 13th birthday, which is November 28th, and to see the Christmas decorations.
Once home from lunch, I began checking out dates on the 2008 calendar and settled on December 2nd-6th. Close enough to Daisy's birthday, but not Thanksgiving week, early in December to hopefully not be to crowded, but Christmas decorations should be out in full force.
