ok so here it goes we are still (yes i know shut up and decide) planning our trip and I lok all day and all night and everytime I get to AKL i get butterflies! If im going to splurge I was wondering does anyone know if concierge is worth it? So far I believe my plans are 3 night at pop, 3 nights at carr, and 4 nts (oh the butterflies again) at AKL considering concierge. any thoughts

Don't worry I felt the same why every time I saw the Poly online! I just fell in love with it and I haven't even been there yet! I'm hoping concierge is worth it b/c we went for it! Hope Ya love it!

We went to WDW and LOVED it at least 15 times before I even knew that concierge existed. My point is that you don't need concierge to enjoy your trip, but it is a nice extra.

We love AKL concierge..but, the only way to enjoy it fully is if you are going to be just hanging around the resort..enjoying all the resort itself. If you are going to be gone in the parks all day and evening..concierge is not worth it.

just make sure your nights/days are on the ones where the safarir(sp) is offered.

I think there is one in the morning and I have heard there is now one at night.

If you can get a discount, concierge can pay off. We figure the money we saved on breakfest, snacks and drinks can make up the difference between that and deluxe savanah view. We could even sufficiently do dinner there with the salmon skewers and such they bring up from Boma's (of course this doesn't work if you're a heavy eater). You can't do this at all the resorts because the food is not as abundant. The big draw for us going AKL concierge was the sunrise safari. There is a sunset safari now but kids have to be at least 16 years old and it's more expensive than the sunrise safari.

Heck, skip the POP stay and go 7 days AKL, and go for regular savannah view rooms to save a little of the difference between POP and AKL. BTW, what is CARR? and why would you move twice on vacation? Two resorts is enough for a 10 night trip; otherwise you end up packing and unpacking too much for my tastes. Or better yet, how about 10 nights AKL? ;)

(can you tell it's our fav'?)

well carr is carribean, and I want to experience all types of hotels value mod and deluxe! LOL
