Things you wish you'd never seen at Disney

The beer muscles that lets people think they can do mission space and the aftermath is the only thing I've seen and wish I didn't..

We were at the World last week and saw a couple unbelievable things. We were at AK on a warm 92 degree day. We stopped at the restrooms near the Congo River Rapids and my husband went into the mens room and there were 3 adult men completely naked drying their clothes under the hand dryers.

Several years ago I took my mom to WDW. Sister asked to come along, and I said sure. After getting wet on Kali, my sister spent a crazy long time in the women's restroom drying her underwear under the hand dryers. Although she didn't do this naked, I was pretty miffed that she would do this at all when most people are just fine drying as they go. She was just SO mad about getting wet. Then she left the park early to go back and take a nap before dinner. And my mom wanted to follow her back to the hotel. So my touring plan with them fizzled and was cut short. Love my family, but I'm not planning any Disney trips with them again. I can't even imagine getting wet on a ride souring my mood at WDW.

Here's just a few:

A long time ago saw a young boy peeing in the water at one of the Magic Kingdom boat docks with his Dad allowing him to do so.

A couple years ago a little girl wet herself waiting to ride Everest (at least the Dad took her out of line after it happened, but still the wet puddle was left on the ground for others to step in), a training toddler potty being set out by the turnstiles for their child to use waiting to enter the park.

A toddler potty being set out for the kid to use while waiting to enter the park.

And I agree the PDA in the park is just not cool, in January this couple just kept petting and kissing each other in line for Everest, we finally had to step aside and let others around us.

I was in the Fastpass viewing area for Wishes. It was crowded, park level 8 I think. There was these two either older parents or grandparents will a boy maybe 6 to 8. I am not good at judging ages. Anyways the kid is not liking being so closed in and crowded. Asks the adults to leave. They refuse. It gets more crowded, the kids having a real hard time breathing/sweating/starting to panic. The man just tells him to stop misbehaving or there will be trouble back in the room. Kid full on starts to freak out now. Man loses it and starts like Law and Order level child abuse. Another guy literally steps in to take the hit for the kid while his wife/giftfriend goes to get security/cast members. It was all kinds of awful. In total probably 12ish people got involved in one big shooting/argument. Kid gets taken away by security and the parents are escorted to what I assume is the police.

Saw a man from somewhere at Blizzard Beach wearing a gold jock strap looking bathing suit. I don't know what you call them but it was disgusting.

Captain EO

BABY BIDET
Banana hammock? LOL.
I actually saw a guy at ASMo two years ago who was wearing something VERY similar to a "Borat" suit. It was NOT pretty! I'm surprised they let him wear something that revealing to be honest with you but I don't think they have rules that tell you what to wear at the pool if it's legitimate swimwear, do they?

They should have rules. haha

I haven't been to Disney in the heat in a couple of years, but I'm assuming some of the outfits can't be too different from Universal ... this summer, I saw more "fiblets" than I care to ... the length of shorts these days on young (and not so young) girls / women is insane. I get that its the style but some of them may as well not wear shorts at all. I saw MOTHERS pushing strollers with shorts that showed not only butt cheeks but if they were sitting a certain way, would show other parts as well!

This was what I was going to post! Is it supposed to be sexy or do they not realize their butt cheeks are hanging out?!

Some ladies also seemed to think the Halloween party was an appropriate time for teeny, tiny costumes.....there were some that I saw that should never be worn in front of children!

I can't imagine Disney allows this! Even if their country is ok with it, when people come to our country don't they need to follow the rules of the United States? As the mother of two 13 year old boys, I'm sure this would be the talk of their whole vacation if this happened LOL I, however, would be horrified and without a doubt would be finding someone to complain to :(
They do. However, nothing described is in violation of Florida law & your complaints would fall on deaf ears.

I get grossed out every time I see squirrels going through parked strollers and having themselves a meal on snacks people leave in the strollers.

When we were in WDW in August we saw many women either braless or in dire need of a new bra (one that actually supports them). Please, ladies, wear a bra.

That is so sad. I hate seeing parents lose it in the middle of Disney. What fireworks or parade is worth getting this upset over?

What's even scarier is what that poor child goes through at home. If someone is willing to act like that in front of dozens of witnesses, what is he capable of doing when they're at home?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If someone loses it like that in a park filled with witnesses imagine what happens when they know no one is watching.

Waiting for my food at Capt. Cook's when I see a boy about 4 or 5 years old, completely unattended, go up to the utensil dispenser, pick up all the spoons on the bottom, put them all in his mouth and then put them back in the dispenser. Ew for all the folks who need a spoon to eat their meal! At this point, grandma shows up and I let her know, in a nice way, what her grandson had done and very kindly suggest that she might want to take the spoons out and throw them away, which she does. All with a smile on my face and a sort of chuckle, kids-will-do-the-darndest things kind of tone. At this point, mom, who had been buying her food without caring where her child had wandered off asks grandma what I had said to her. Grandma tells her and mom shoots me a nasty look. Right, because allowing your child to suck on all the spoons and then put them back in a public dispenser is absolutely the right thing to do. Super gross and, if that were my child, I would want to rectify the situation so people could eat with clean utensils!

Walking out of DHS after the Frozen fireworks last year, we saw a man screaming at a child who could not have been more than 2 years old, if that. There were two women with him who were just standing back letting him unleash on this tiny kid. He wasn't hitting her, but the volume and tone of voice were off the charts. It was awful.

CM scalping FPs. At MK. On Xmas day. Sad.

I was sitting down waiting for the rest of my family when I saw the CM with a stack 1-2" thick of FPs. I pretended not to noticed and he started talking to someone else sitting down nearby. About $20 a pop from what I could hear. But I think he may have noticed me and walked away. Could not get his name so reporting it was a bit hard.

I have to say it always makes me incredibly sad/angry when I see parents get physical with their children. I'm talking about roughly grabbing arms and yanking them somewhere, screaming into their face from close distance, hitting their bottoms etc. My SO has a short fuse when it comes to mistreating kids and he will ALWAYS say something to the offender. Control your tempers, people. Don't hurt your kids.:sad2:
