2020 Camry
The car has only 5.7 inches ground clearance. Standard parking curbs are 6 inches tall. You can't pull all the way into a parking spot until your tire hits the parking curb or you will scrap the front bumper.
The interior light is over the backseat so it doesn't light up the front seat. There are two map lights over the front seat, but they can't be set to come on when you open the door.

The radio has a button for SirusXM, but the radio does not have the electronics inside to receive satellite. You only get a radio with those electronics if you also have Navigation.

2022 Subaru Legacy. The only thing I don’t like about my car is the sound of the horn. Other than that I love it. It’s the 3rd I’ve owned. First one was a 2005, second was 2018, and they offered me such a good trade in deal during Covid that I got a 2022.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe
I wish it had more horsepower. I don't think a 4 cylinder engine is enough for a car that size. Other than that I don't have any complaints.

In general I wish car mfgs would use better interior color choices. I would like a car with an all light color interior. I don't like this two-tone stuff where the seating areas are light but the rest of the car is dark. When I was buying the Santa Fe I loved interior of the Nissan Murano but it drove like a truck. And seriously, how many different shades of gray/silver can there possibly be for exterior colors!!

My husband has the same as you. He LOVES it. I think it’s a bit big so I got the Honda CRV but it lacks trunk space. My old Toyota Rav4 was great but had a spare tire that completely obscured the view and no back up camera.

My 2010 Flex has given me a lot of headaches over the years. I got it used and should not have gotten this particular one.

I don't like that the middle row has 3 seats and the back row has 2. I would have preferred 3 in the back and 2 in the middle like mini vans used to have so I didn't have to flop the middle seat down every time one of the kids got in the back. I also am not a fan of the placement and size of the side mirrors. They can block out a small sedan at intersections. That's no good. Otherwise it's fine, it did the job I needed it to do.

I ordered a Subaru Outback about 6 weeks ago and it is due to come in next month and I cannot wait. I am SO excited to have a vehicle in good working order this winter.

As far as things that I don't like about the Outback I wish so many things weren't tied to the touchscreen system. I just want regular buttons please. But, that is the way they all are now so I suppose I can't fault the Outback for that. Also, I would really like more exterior/interior color combo options. For the trim level I chose there were about 8 different exterior color choices but if you didn't want a black interior your options were white, black, silver, or blue. So blue it is.

These gripes are both very minor though and I can't see what color my car is when I'm sitting in it anyway so whatever.

2023 Honda Pilot - For the most part, I love everything about it. The only thing I miss from my old car is the "ashtray" to keep change in.

2021 Mazda CX30. It was a Covid-buy, which meant we took what we could get and it’s not outfitted quite the way I wish it was and lacks many of the convenience features my former car had. I’m also not loving the gas mileage, especially when compared to DH’s Toyota hybrid, which he got at the same time.

I have a 2014 Nissan Cube and for day to day life it's perfect for me. On occasion I could use more cargo room and it would be nice to have heated seats in winter. I'm nearing 100,000 miles on it now.
I'm dreading the day I need to buy a new car because I don't want to lose button controls and a CD player.

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. I feel blessed to own this van. She still runs beautifully, has never left me stranded, and every bell and whistle still works. If and when she gives up the ghost, I will be devastated. I cannot think of a single thing I do not like about this vehicle, except maybe that her paint is looking bad, but that is minor stuff.

2014 Subaru Forester -
Still bitter over the "1 CD" option. My previous Subaru could hold 6. (I'm not old, but old enough to have a ton of CDs that I still use.) I even used my tape deck.

I am short so I can't comfortably reach the sunroof sliding shade.

Also wish it had more power but it's AWD and I already own a Subaru knowing what it can and cannot do.

1965 Mustang no power steering.

I used to tow a boat. The pulling was fine. The stopping not so much. I lived in a cul-de-sac, at the top of a hill. I'd come up,make the circle so I was facing back down and that was always the time I was wishing for power steering. Trying to get that boat lined up to park in the back yard was a chore. I still loved that car!

I really like my new car - 2024 Subaru Impreza - but it does one thing that annoys me greatly, and that is when it plays music off of my USB drive, it often forgets where I was and defaults to the song that is alphabetically first because fos ome quotation marks in the title. I have like thousands of songs on that drive, and it's weird that it want's to organize it by song title. I already had to redo my folders because it does not recognize sub folders, but if it could jsut pick up where it left off - and sometimes it does - I would be very happy. The media player software just isn't very good.

2021 Mazda CX5. Other than wishing it had a panoramic sunroof and was a different color (I couldn’t decide between two colors and regret the one I chose) I have no complaints about my car and really those aren’t major things that bother me on a day to day basis

22 honda pilot. What stupid engineer designed the wireless phone charger that doesnt work if your phone has a case on it. If I remove the case, it works just fine. Everyone has a case on their phone nowadays. Boneheads!

Got a new car last year and all of those sensors that seem to randomly buzz/beep/chime/flash a warning message are annoying and seem to think I am doing something wrong which isn't obvious to me. Is a huge distraction when you have to take your eyes off the road to scan the instrument panel to try to figure out what the car thinks the problem is. Fortunately, the car lets you turn most of these things off. Apparently this is an issue with several car manufacturers as a relative owns a different vehicle made by another car company and has virtually the same complaint about distracting warning noises.

The prior vehicle I owned would increase the effort required to turn the steering wheel if it thought you were drifting out of your lane. I could imagine someone in an emergency situation might turn the wheel with greater force to compensate and run themselves off the road. I thought that feature was a TERRIBLE idea.

All of those cameras, sensors and the associated software likely add a LOT to the price of the vehicle for little benefit. If these same sensors also feed any of those 'self-driving' features some cars now have, would NEVER trust them to make driving decisions for me. Many seem like a great idea in theory in some lab, but in the real world where you are likely to encounter snow/ice/fog/rain, I will keep my eyes on the road and make those sorts of decisions for myself.

2023 Subaru Impreza - its a great value for a new car and has lots of bells and whistles.

The thing that really annoys me is although they have android auto its not wireless so you have to plug the phone into the car to use it. I have a cheap radio I put in my 2005 Ford and it has wireless android auto - it so much nicer.

2014 Ford Explorer......love it.
The only thing is it is hard to get into the third row seats, but those are rarely used and the grand kids have no problem climbing in.

2016 Kia Sedona…not one thing I don’t like about this car. We have done multiple cross country road trips in it, taken it camping, moved kids in and out of places, countless beach trips, etc.

It seats 8 people and has so much storage space.

It now has almost 150k miles on it but I just can’t seem to part with it. There is literally nothing wrong with it.

Two years ago we bought a VW Tiguan which was great. It has since been rear ended and I have been back to driving the Sedona. After having an SUV, we decided we just like a minivan. Yeah I know, not cool. I am, however, only 5’2” so it is easy to get in and out of, easy to drive, still sits up high and has huge capacity for storage and carting stuff.

I think when this one goes we will probably look at the Kia Carnival.
