So, I have family that has worked for Disney in the past. My dad was an imagineer, three of my aunts and my older sister worked at DL, and one of my uncles also worked for disney.

Is this appropriate to mention during the interview? Would it even help my chances or is it kind of a neutral comment? I also don't want to seem like I expect to be excepted just cause my family worked for them.

.

You're dad was an imagineer? That's super cool :) my husbands going into engineering for school and I keep telling him he should be an imagineer. He's definitely got the mind for it! Imaginative and detail oriented!

Oh also, I know when i did my interview years ago (it seems like yesterday to me!) they asked why I want to work for Disney, and I don't think it would hurt to say that your family had an influence on you.

I was going to say the same thing. I wouldn't just say 'oh by the way tons of my family worked/works for disney' but when they ask why you want to work there you could mention that your family did and they loved it or something like that. :)

Great minds think alike!:teacher:

Just did my interview! Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to mention that my family had worked there, but I think it went really well anyway ^_^

Ahh! Good luck!

And that's too bad, I would totally find a way to slide that in somewhere...:smooth:
