Autumn has always been my favorite time of the year, besides the month of December.
I love the leaves changing colors on the trees and falling to the ground.
The crisp air, the smells. Harvest time on the farm. Pumpkins, corn shocks, autumn-scented candles burning in the house, making soups/breads, DH's birthday, our wedding anniversary, cooler days/nights, wearing sweatshirts and jeans again, the first frost of the season and how it sparkles on the grass, no more mowing the lawn, being able to have windows open during the day instead of running the air conditioner. Probably lots more.
The only thing I don't like about autumn, is having to winterize the camper the beginning of October. No more camping trips until spring.
