My boyfriend and I will be in San Diego next week; we fly in tomorrow night. We will be at Paradise Point in Mission Bay Sunday and Monday. Tuesday we are driving up to Anaheim to DLR/DCA for the night, and driving back down to Paradise Point Wednesday night; we will be there until Saturday.

Any things you recommend as must do/see? We are having Sunday brunch at Tom Ham's Lighthouse, and dinner at Bertrand at Mister A's. We know we want to do the harbor tour, and we don't really want to do the zoo.

It's the tail end of whale-watching season, so if you'd like to do a whale-watching tour rather than just a harbor tour, you might want to consider that. If you don't want to do the zoo, am I right in assuming you don't want to do Sea World either?

I'd go to La Jolla Cove (Children's Pool) to see the seals. I'd also walk around Balboa Park (you don't have to go to the zoo, there are a lot of other things to see). You could check out Gaslamp downtown, or check out Old Town for a margarita.

Actually, SeaWorld is still a possibility. I'm told it's much nicer than the one in Orlando.

Who told you that!? LOL. I personally don't think so at all. If you have an interest in going, by all means go, but if you were using the comparison to Orlando to tip you over the fence, I don't think that's accurate, especially since right now there is quite a bit of construction going on and therefore several closed attractions.
