I'm 22 and going to WDW in January. I'm going with my mom and 2 aunts (all much older) and my much younger cousins who I am there partially to babysit. But my evenings are free and I'm a night owl. Is there anything there I can do by myself without feeling weird about being alone at? We're down there for 7 days, so I'd like to get out and do somethings, but I don't know about going out alone, or really where would be good places to go. So I guess I'm just asking for suggestions or ideas. Let me know! thanks!

DisneyQuest is a ton of fun -- you might even meet some folks at the games.
Not sure if you're into the clubs, but Pleasure Island is full of them.

If you have the Ultimate Park Hopper, they're all free!
Disney Transportation gets you there (to Downtown Disney) from anywhere.

I did a water park by myself one AM and did NOT feel weird at all.

Have fun (you will)!

I agree with Pleasure Island. I just walked around and then went to the House of Blues. They have a band playing outside. It was great. I never felt uncomfortable being alone.

Don't forget Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk, it is a great piano bar and you would have a blast there solo. Go and enjoy the parks solo. You will be able to get on any of the rides you want too, without deciding who wants to go on with you.

Juist want to agree with everyone. Going by yourself won't feel weird, and there are definitely some advantages.

I'm not much of a night owl, I'm not 22 any more  , but Jellyrolls is great.

When are you going in Jan?

I am 21 and I'm gonna be there 1/3-1/12 I am going with friends but they are going to get on my nerves ;) and I am planning on spending some time without them. :cool1:

I'm staying at AKL for the first 7 nights then the last night solo at AS

Yes to Jellyrolls! A total blast. And try to go when Scotty is playing - make sure you request The Rainbow Connection. What an unexpected and GREAT surprise!

There are alot of backstage tours that you can take in each park(except MGM which is part of a larger tour) that are great for people that want to go off on there own for a few hours. They are all very interesting. Some are every day while some are on certain days of the week. You can go to Disney.com, go to each theme park page and click on the "tours" for more info on times, days and costs? I have taken most of them if you have any questions.
