Sixty plus years ago while on a family vacation, we stopped at a Stuckey's in Pennsylvania and I was so enthralled with the coffee cup my hot chocolate came in, the waitress gave it to me. For the next 50 years I continued to pick up a coffee cup when ever I went on a trip. Ten years ago I downsized and moved into a small apartment. I carefully packed the entire collection into packing boxes specifically designed for cups which have lived unopened in the corner of a closet ever since.
When I first moved I only put two cups in kitchen cupboard for actually use but that has grown to 15. Due to space constraints, now if I get a new one, one in the cupboard has to go but still the boxes in the closet linger on.
