I do know how it works.

Then what's the problem? Plenty of people have gotten their return on buying into DVC, especially those who bought it years ago. The money Disney makes is in the amount of people that actually do buy into it. Not to mention that I can sell my contract for right around what I purchased it for if I wanted to now. That would be years of free vacations.

Me too! My sister and I are always planning our next vacation, but always decide we would rather wait to save up to go deluxe or ~possibly~ moderate. Nothing against either category really, but we have only stayed in Moderates or Deluxes during our stays. If we are going-- we are going big!

I'm glad you had a good time. A trip like that wouldn't be my cup of tea IMO. I would prefer to visit less cities but spend more time in them.

Well, basically I did spend more time in many of them. If you stayed onsite in a Disney Resort you basically saw nothing of any city in Florida. You just saw a theme park. You don't know what it looks like just outside the entrance to WDW. Orlando or Kissimmee. Those two combine to make a pretty good size area worthy of exploring.

I realize, of course, that roaming isn't for everyone. I realize that but I do not understand it. Maybe for the first few times someone visits WDW. As beautiful as WDW is, to me it pales in comparison to the real world. I can use WDW as an escape when necessary, but the rest of the time, I want to know everything about the area and beyond. At least I used too.
