-Being religious. People will come after anyone who mentions a religious belief (even if it's not an overtly religious message). I haven't noticed anyone mentioning that they were atheist and being called out, but mention you attend church on Easter because you want to celebrate what you believe is the true meaning of Easter (or Christmas) and all hell breaks loose...literally lol
-Walmart. Ours have always been clean, well stocked, variety of fresh and quality produce, and a good selection of quality meat. Maybe we just live in a more affluent area where Walmart has to compete with places like Whole Foods.
I'll agree with WalMart. I've seen some really horrid ones, but my local ones have always been clean, organized and (mostly) well-stocked. Things did get scarce during the plague year, and aren't all back to 'normal' yet.
Prices are a little lower than most of the grocery stores, but you have to watch when there are sales, because it might be cheaper to shop elsewhere then.
I'll agree with this. My daughter loves both Olive Garden and Red Lobster, the two most commented on by chain restaurant haters. Olive Garden has some dishes I really love, and the service at Red Lobster is always awesome because they all seem to be staffed by middle aged women rather than just out of high school kids (not that just out of high school kids are all bad...)
She loves Buffalo Wild Wings too. Now I'm not thrilled with $15 for 5 wings, but they seriously stepped up their burger game last time we were there. Gone was the shaped frozen patty with a delicious fresh tasting burger in it's place.
Locally our Chili's restaurant is delicious. I model my BBQ sauce for ribs and fajita marinade from the flavor of Chili's.
Meanwhile, one of the biggest and arguably best restaurant group of western PA not in the big city (Pittsburgh) opened one in my town and it's some of the worst food I've ever eaten. We love all of their restaurants outside of this one they opened in my town.
