Things that are ridiculous...

Lol, I was just thinking about how it's annoying that my phone company charges 15 cents for every received text.
I mean I can't control who the frig texts me. And spam, I have to pay for that too? I mean that's just lame.

and we have this 6th period study hall now, with people of various grades in it. The purpose of doing it by our clans (basically, there's 4 school clans and we compete, it's kind of lame) was to get to know other people...
Well if I'm not allowed to talk in study hall, how do I get to know people?

Is there anything right now that's just kind of ridiculous and just doesn't make sense on your mind?

shouldn't it be like 'double vee'?!?

i don't get why kids who play football are treated better by the school faculty then the kids in band&everyone else. obviously, the kids in band are mentally superior, so why do the football players get excused from class, and other privileges?

I think band is actually very much a sport.

espically if its marching band.

Plus, you have to be a smart person, to know the second language of music.

Im not saying football is easier then band, im just saying i agree with that.

My School Built this Bajjillion $ Aud. that we use ONE A YEAR but they did'nt built a new Computer lab that teachers use everyday.

you know exponents? well whenever it is a number to the zero power it equals one.. i dont get that.. if the number was never multiplied by itself.. then it doesnt exist

I don't get how our taxes and funding around here went to building a 6 million dollar building [with fish tanks in the walls] for magnet when the main school doesn't have enough books, supplies, paper, etc.

okay there are probably good reasons why these arent happening but what doesnt make sense to me is

1) why havent we cured aids yet? we have known about it for about ten years so far? and we cant find something to cure it? that doesnt make sense at all

2)same goes for cancer

3) it doesnt make sense to me why we are trying to fix other countries problems when we have our own over here! i just dont get that

oh, i always used spanish as a backup reason as to why it's weird.
in spanish, 'w' is pronounced 'doble u', which translated means double you too.
but v is pronounced just like the french pronounce it.

I don't even play a band instrument - I play the violin.
We don't have, like, a serious orchestra program.
Well - we sort of do. We have a pit orchestra for the spring musical.
But - HAHA - we're in the pit where no one can see us!
So we never even really perform alone.

band also takes more mental ability, especially when you are marching. playing memorized notes along with accidentals, key changes, and slurs can be tough. all the time when you have to memorize 100+ steps, and making sure you do that in order. i have played football, it is more physically tolling, but band is more mentally tolling.
