The parallel parking thing. It was touched on briefly in driver's on the road training..
And when I took the actual test to get my license: You backed out of the space, drive to the back entrance of the DMV, took a right, took a right at the light and took a right in about 30 feet to in front of the DMV.
If course that was in early 80'a and there is a new bigger DMV not far. Oddly enough, the old DMV would turn into a satellite office for city annd a DMV select. Lol

Lots have said this already, but my 3rd grader is learning cursive currently. So, that's still a thing.

I teach third grade and teach cursive handwriting. My students love it. My cousin's school district is not teaching cursive.

Those were great. And doubleheader baseball games. They rarely have those anymore unless there's a makeup for a rainout.

And even for rainout makeup games, it's often a day/night doubleheader with separate admissions.

Prayer in government school classrooms.

And our founding fathers made sure that we didn't have any specific religion connected to the government. It was to insure the freedom of all. That is why so many came to this country... a small thing called religious freedom and worship. Not to have someone tell them what their worship should consist of and when.

As long as there are tests, there is prayer in public school classrooms.

Exactly how it should be, and that is allowed. Private prayer is always allowed to happen within ourselves. Forcing one's beliefs on others is not what this country is all about.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this one, but looking up someone's number in a phone book. And if they had a common last name, having to guess on the right address otherwise you were calling the wrong house.

(Oddly enough I got a phone book in my driveway yesterday and my only thought was "Why?")

We still get multiple phone books each year when a new edition is made though they are not as big as they used to be that's for sure.
