Since we've broadened the topic here, I'll add in some other things I bring. (The list always seems to get longer every time we go....anyone else find that to be true?)
We also started bringing the Britta water bottles - they take away the nasty taste of some of the Disney water.
I think I already posted that I bring extra coffee, but I get the kind already in a filter pack- no muss, no fuss.
When we stay in studios, I also pack a drink pitcher and bring some type of juice for use in the room.
I've seen others recommend bringing a crock pot/slow cooker....I may try that over the Christmas holiday. We'll be there for 9 days.
We also pack shelf stable dinner items - mac'n'cheese mixes, jello mix, salsa (we buy chips when we get there - too much breakage otherwise!!), nacho cheese dip, chili, etc.
Gladware for cooking and making jello, etc.
I forgot one of my laundry favorites - dryer secret sheets. It's a great, fast way to freshen clothes.
A spray freshener is also a must - after a few days in the parks, our shoes need a little pick me up,
Ziploc bags are a life saver; always bring first aid supplies, and we've added mole skin to that list. It cuts down on any blisters for our feet
The DVC guidebook comes with us, as does our Birnbaum Disney book.
Rain ponchos - absolute necessity
Hip sacks, backpacks - usually Disney ones, as a matter of fact - for use in the parks
Disney resort mugs - depending on which resort we're in, we bring the corresponding mugs for that resort. We seem to have our own growing collection of them, lol.
Yes, we bring our own shampoo, lotion, body wash, too. The small bottles supplied by Disney don't last too long for a family of four.
Depending on which resort your visiting and time of year, you may want to bring bug repellant. I know that Vero has the no-seeums that seem to eat you alive during part of the year. I've never really noticed any other biting type bugs at Disney proper, though.
