Things I learned during this trip!

The refillable mug is only included with the quick service dining plan. If you are on the regular or deluxe dining plan you would need to purchase the mug separately.
The refillable mug has always been included with the Deluxe Dining Plan. Has something changed for 2010 that I didn't see?

Number of Meals During Your Package Stay
The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan includes three (3) Meals and two (2)
Snacks per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the
party ages 3 and over. The plan also includes one (1) Resort refillable
drink mug per person, per package (eligible for refills at Quick
Service locations only in your Disney Resort hotel). The example
below illustrates a dining plan for a three-night, four-day package.

I just checked and it is included in the deluxe plan

Why is it that the QS plan gets a free mug and then the Deluxe plan gets a free mug but the standard dining plan does not? I would have though that the more you spend the more perks you get. QS is a cheaper plan but they get a mug. I want my free mug!

I wonder if Disney thinks you may eat at your resort more frequently if you have the QS meal plan? The mug was wonderful, I used it every day and now I have it at home to remind me of our great vacation.

Good Luck!

I love my resort mug from last summer. I am excited about getting a new one this summer. I use mine everyday, it fits GREAT in my cup holder in the car.:goodvibes We stayed at Grand Floridian last time and found them in the 24 hour quick service place.

This time though, we will be at Shades of Green. Does anyone know if I can purchase one from them?

What are the drink options for refillable mugs at AKL? Tea, coffee?

Coffee, Tea (hot and cold/sweet), Sodas (Coke products), Hot Coco

It think that about covers it. Just think, one morning coffee was a little more than $2, if you are there for 7 days that's around $14, completely covers the cost with that one beverage. I used mine a couple of times a day, tea, soda, hot chocolate. And I used it for water in the room.

Today I'm sitting in the office drinking my tea out of it. Puts a smile on my face.

For some people it's a great bargin, for others, it's not for them. I like it.

I plan to get the refillable mug, fill with my fave COKE (or coffee) is the morning, then refill with water at the parks all day. Then bring home as a nice souvie! Good deal to me!

We have about 4 or 5 refillable cups. The last time we got them we were there for our honeymoon in December 2008! Love them! I put my tea or coffee in them and that's what I use on my way to work. They are great!:thumbsup2

I'm just waiting for the Refillable Beer Cups to happen!:drinking1 We had glasses on DCL and the refills weren't free but definaely cheaper!:woohoo: It was great!

so do you buy the cup and fill it with drink, pay and leave.
what do you do the second time, when its free?:confused3

You just walk right in to your resort's drink station and fill er up yourself! As long as the "lock" is off it and it is from this year they won't bat an eye!
