the school summer holidays of course. From now until 2nd September I have my little angels(?) home with me. The good side is not getting up so early in the morning and the socialising with friends (when I'm not working), the bad side the squabbling, the fact that they won't go to bed so early because they don't have to get up for school in the morning and the socialising with friends (too many nice snacky bits to go with the wine)!!!

Overall - my vote is for the holidays.

At work there are lots of people who work 'term-time' only - and they all break up next week for 6 week's - its not fair :(

I am only jealous LOL

Im a term time only worker, and Ive got 9 weeks off!!!!!!!!
Ive already had 2 weeks off, which was nice to have time to myself before Ds broke up today!.
Mind you I do freelance work aswell, but am planning on doing as little as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p

I work in a school so all my holiday has to be in school hols. So I get no child free time and no cheaper holidays. But on the plus side no child care to organise.

I'm even daft enough to be taking 16 brownies away for a long weekend during the hols!

My DD finished on Friday & eldest DS finished in June after his exams. He's definately got used to staying in bed ALL morning.
his system will be in for a shock on Holiday.

My youngest DS & I have another week at school & then I have volunteered for another weeks work. Its now that I@m thinking that I must have been mad.

I'm working a week on a play scheme for Autistic children and I did it last year too. I know I'll really enjoy it once I'm there.

then it will be 2 weeks to Pack

My DDs and DW all finished a week ago. So I now have to get up and make my own breakfast in the mornings :(

Bear a thought for me then!!Mattie hasn't been at school since last October and only started receiving 8 hours tuition a week at easter:(  I have ben trying to keep him amused/spirits up for more months than I care to remember!

So what are usually the long summer holidays stretching ahead for me will be a doddle this year;)
