So much to do... so little time.
Now I've got two updates to comment on!
Been busy getting ready for our own trip so I'm falling behind...
Oh, heck! I don't remember if I wished her a happy Bday or not!
If I didn't...
I can't wrap my head around that. What do you get for someone turning 39? A polly pocket doll set of course!
Women too. At least when you two gals are there.

Woot! A Canadian bear named after my home town.
This got me thinking.
So you get an offer to live there. You of course jump at the chance. When you go to move in, you discover that it's just a facade over a hollow shell! No plumbing! No electrical! No nothing!
I'd still do it, of course. It's Disney, people!!! Hello!!!
I could see that happening to me! I'd be all excited and DW would be looking at me like I had an extra head growing out of my neck or something.
And me, too.

see ya real soon, eh!

Why? Because we're friendly, that's why! It's a cultural thing. Sorry.

We were only "meh" on the movie. Could be we were looking too much for it to be as good (or better) then the original.
Not possible.
Oh, Caitlin... Quit monkeying around, silly girl.
That's pretty cool.
You???? Nahhh...
Were they oblivious? Or just didn't care. And maybe gramps was waiting for a call and didn't know how to turn up the volume or just couldn't hear it unless it was stuck to his head.
I dunno. I'll have to reserve judgment until after I've seen it in person. I wouldn't mind seeing new concept cars.
uh, oh! Caitlin's not happy!
I can't tell for sure... Is it a painting or a sculpture?
Oh dear. Caitlin seems to have something caught in her throat. Better drink something, it'll help.
Shocked! I'm absolutely shocked! But then again, I bet lots (and lots) of people missed it... I'm sure I would've!
I still haven't seen the last episode... but prior to that, all we've seen is the evil shadow, no? Or am I forgetting something?
Perish the thought!!
Very nice!
Not only have we not stayed there... we haven't even been there yet! And Beaches & Cream is high on my list!
I'm surprised you didn't march up there and demand they remove the offending articles.
We don't allow those at the dinner table.
'Cause if it was daytime, you probably wouldn't have taken any pics, right?
Right?
Hello?
OMG! You're such a girl!
"I'll ride it, but only if it doesn't muss my hair!"

I can't speak for Little Mermaid, having never ridden, but add in BTMRR and I think our lists are pretty identical.
That sounds great! I'll be watching for it next time I ride.
<sigh>
I did. And my DDs gave me a look like they thought I was going to jump out of the boat.
I am so not going to comment about that.
nope.
I didn't even know there was one. Is it plastic or cardboard?
That'd be great! If out of character.
Great HM shots! Best. Ride. Ever.
This one cracks me up!
Yes. I do recall this strange attraction you mom has to that.... I'll call it a "ride" since it would be impolite to call it "purgatory".
Thanks for the update(s) Caitlin!

Hey everyone! Before I started the next update I just wanted to wish my mom a happy belated!
Oh, heck! I don't remember if I wished her a happy Bday or not!
If I didn't...

For her birthday I got her the Merida polly pocket doll set.
I can't wrap my head around that. What do you get for someone turning 39? A polly pocket doll set of course!
Our next stop was France. Home to good looking men and great alcoholic beverages.
Women too. At least when you two gals are there.

See kids EPCOT teaches you so much about the countries

Then England home to Winnie the Pooh and tea
Woot! A Canadian bear named after my home town.
I would love to live in one of these apartments and have coffee overlooking the courtyard every morning
This got me thinking.
So you get an offer to live there. You of course jump at the chance. When you go to move in, you discover that it's just a facade over a hollow shell! No plumbing! No electrical! No nothing!
I'd still do it, of course. It's Disney, people!!! Hello!!!
Turns out we ran in to Denise (Deemarch) on the DIS! She congratulated me on getting married and besides scaring her husband a bit it was a very nice meet.

This stop was Canada home to some amazing DISers!
And me, too.
I liked the moose statues they added

Next up was the Wizard of Oz area. I had really enjoyed this movie and the area was a great homage to it!
We were only "meh" on the movie. Could be we were looking too much for it to be as good (or better) then the original.
Not possible.
Oh, Caitlin... Quit monkeying around, silly girl.
I loved the downed hot air balloon!
That's pretty cool.
I may have gotten a little picture happy
You???? Nahhh...
Right before we got in line another family cut in front of us. They were a bit annoying and for some reason the grandfather held his phone like this for the entire line. He wasn't on the phone or anything he just held it like this.
Were they oblivious? Or just didn't care. And maybe gramps was waiting for a call and didn't know how to turn up the volume or just couldn't hear it unless it was stuck to his head.

After a while we got inside and that is when I began to miss the old Test Track!
The new line feels like a showroom at a car dealership. I miss the scary mannequins and all of the testing equipment!
I dunno. I'll have to reserve judgment until after I've seen it in person. I wouldn't mind seeing new concept cars.
I wasn't highly impressed by this part so I proceeded to make the ugliest car possible.
uh, oh! Caitlin's not happy!

Took a look around the art shop where I fell in love with this very expensive piece of art.
I can't tell for sure... Is it a painting or a sculpture?
Beautiful isn't it?! I think Epcot will be what I miss most from our DL trip! There is nothing like *coughdrinksatcough* Epcot!
Oh dear. Caitlin seems to have something caught in her throat. Better drink something, it'll help.

I know I know how could I queen of taking pictures of almost anything miss something! I loved how they had Peter Pan on top of the building with Hook trying to get him!
Shocked! I'm absolutely shocked! But then again, I bet lots (and lots) of people missed it... I'm sure I would've!
Peter Pan is one of my favorites but not on Once Upon a Time!
I still haven't seen the last episode... but prior to that, all we've seen is the evil shadow, no? Or am I forgetting something?
I also took another picture of the garden because unless I photograph everything then I have to write more during my updates and we don't want that!
Perish the thought!!

This has to be one of my favorite views of World Showcase

The best resorts are in this area! I prefer the Boardwalk while mom and dad love the Beach Club
Not only have we not stayed there... we haven't even been there yet! And Beaches & Cream is high on my list!
In the upper area of this pic you can see someone left their board shorts and towels on the deck. Don't they know how beautiful this resort is?! You can't just go leaving your stuff out to ruin pictures! For shame!
I'm surprised you didn't march up there and demand they remove the offending articles.
My mom wanted me to add in here she found it sad that the family next to us consisted of a boy watching tv on the ipad and the dad busy texting on his phone.
We don't allow those at the dinner table.
Disney at night is a totally different experience and one of my favorites to photograph
'Cause if it was daytime, you probably wouldn't have taken any pics, right?
Right?
Hello?
I love this ride but I am not a huge fan of getting wet. I plan on sucking up my fear of water ruined hair and riding it in DL(Our hotel is super close to property so hopefully after I can go fix my hair and go right back to the fun)
OMG! You're such a girl!
"I'll ride it, but only if it doesn't muss my hair!"

Yep! There are only so many rides I can ride multiple times at Disney. These include The Haunted Mansion, The Little Mermaid ride, Peter Pan, Expedition Everest and of course Pirates of the Carribean.
I can't speak for Little Mermaid, having never ridden, but add in BTMRR and I think our lists are pretty identical.
I believe this was the night where I was totally freaked out by the new Mermaid addition. If you haven't seen the last movie the mermaids are bad! In this new addition they had a mermaid singing and showed them by projector swimming on either side of your boat. The water even rises near their tails like they are actually swimming underneath. The mixture of creepy music and mermaids freaked me out and I wasn't sure what was going to happen next. Of course nothing did but it was pretty creepy!
That sounds great! I'll be watching for it next time I ride.
We wants the redhead! What DISer doesn't shout along with that narration?!
<sigh>
I did. And my DDs gave me a look like they thought I was going to jump out of the boat.

There is nothing better than a drunken pirate with farm animals
I am so not going to comment about that.
nope.
Because Mom needed this
The Dumbo popcorn bucket!
I didn't even know there was one. Is it plastic or cardboard?
During the door part of the ride we noticed they had just a curtain where a door used to be! Needless to say we got creeped out again waiting for someone to pop out!

Great HM shots! Best. Ride. Ever.
This one cracks me up!

Next up was Its a Small World. Mom requested this.
Yes. I do recall this strange attraction you mom has to that.... I'll call it a "ride" since it would be impolite to call it "purgatory".
I will leave you here many more pictures and experiences to come!
Thanks for the update(s) Caitlin!
