I was laughing so hard when i found that...
It's off the Disney web site under your resort.
I posted it too...
Wait until you see the pool!!!
Beeeeee-youuuuu-TEE-FUL
Oh good Lord... I didn't even think of the pool. I bet it's wonderful?
Mo
I'm loving the pictures you found of D's resort. lol
Have a great weekend!
Hehehe... YOu too!
Glad to hear Josh is doing better. Hope the GI gets him on a better diet, etc.....
The picture of Alli and Gus is adorable.
I wonder where you are staying??? I can't wait to find out!!!
I had a minor injury last week and it has set me back. I sprained my arm, by picking up my work laptop bag. So I have had my arm in a sling. What a pain!!
I am doing much better, but I was unable to do so much I am so far behind.
On another note, our baby is here visiting for 2 weeks!!! We are having such a blast with her. Nothing like a sassy 2 year.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Me too... Although, he came home last night with a tub of gillato... Sigh.
Yah - they have changed so much! It's hard to believe.
Me too - I am very excited!
Oh no!!! That is awful! I sure hope it heals quickly!
Yay for visiting babies!!!! Life is good. Love sassy 2 year olds, they crack me up. I really disliked that age a lot when my girls were that age - but I look back on it so fondly now, and miss it very much.
You too! Thank you!
That's so sweet of you to say! I have had a few people ask me how I "got into" my craft, and I always tell them about your bags. I'm sure you can imagine I get some confused looks.
That's just incredible, I am willing to bet it won't be too long until you finish your first Disney marathon.
It's scary how quickly time flies when you have kids! You have left them a legacy with rolling up your sleeves and finding some creative ways to take all of your trips together. I don't want to think about what it must be like when they start dating, so thank goodness Gus is a winner.
Darn! I was really looking forward to November, but it will happen someday. Cars are the worst at knowing when you are about to go to WDW. Our car decided we needed to delay our trip by 2 months and stay at a value.
He is getting so big and growing up too quickly.
Awwww... LOL Ii am sure you get some confused looks - but I get it.

I am very proud of you! You make a spectacular product! I hope one day to own something from you... I just don't know what yet.
Hahaha... Well, it will be 2017 at the earliest, because the 2016 is full and closed.

I figure, that's about the right amount of time - if I start training now? LOL I am half-serious.
It is so scary how fast it goes... I feel like it's just been the blink of an eye. I hope so - I hope they've learned something from it, I truly do... but we will see.
It is very scary when they first start dating... Trust me. I look back and chuckle a little bit... Not only was Gus Allison's first boyfriend - but he was the first boyfriend ever... So, over protective parents is saying it mildly. The first 6 months that he knew her, they were chapperoned every where they went (because, remember they dated for a couple of months earlier on)... but once they shifted to a friendship, we loosened up a bit after we got to know him better. It took him a LONG time to earn our trust... So, I look back on that and laugh a little now n' then... Little did we know, when we first met him, that he would become so much a part of our family and our life. He's a good kid, and if things work out between them, great. If not - it's OK too.
Believe me - I know - darn cars. Josh can fix anything in our home/yard/life... but if it's anything other than basic stuff on cars - well, sometimes it's just easier to have a mechanic do it. OUr cars know this and take advantage - I think.

Sorry about November - but Jan will be great too, I am just bummed that we miss you. Are you in the Jan planning group on FB?
I am sure he is! How old is he now? Almost 3? I am trying to think back and I just cannot remember.
Well well. Looks like I have a LOT of catching up to do. Gotta get back into the Dis swing of things.
MVMCP?!?! Oh my. You'll love it. We had a blast last year!! I will have to see when you'll be there. My national convention is in Orlando this year and they are letting me go!!!
Love seeing your progress on Facebook, super proud of you. You've worked so hard to get where you are.
I am looking forward to reading about this trip and getting back to reading the daily updates!!
MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey stranger!!!! How are you???? IT's great to see you catching up on The Dis again!
I am so excited for MVMCP - you have no idea! We are debating on doing a 2nd night of it too... we just have to see where finances fall once we get there. You will have a great time when you go too!

Yay for holiday trips!
Thanks!!! I have worked hard - or as hard as a lazy person works. LOL I really haven't started to put too much oomph into it until recently... This running thing has really motivated me again. Who ever thought that A) my body could do this? Or B) I would actually be
motivated to want excercise? LOL I never would have imagined it 3-4 years ago. I still feel like I have a long road ahead of me, and if I have even the slightest inkling of wanting to do a Disney marathon (even if it's only a half) - I need to start thinking of that now, because I am a slow goer.
Hehehe... Glad to have you back Mike! How is the family? How are the kids? Are you all ready to go back to school?
Hi D~!
I've been a lurker to this PTR and your last TR! Firstly, I just want to say how much I love your TRs!! It's easy to tell through your writing that you and your family have such a fun time in Disney together! Your title says "one last trip, or two, or three", but based off how successful your other trips seem to be, I'm convinced you and your girls will continue to go and have fun at WDW for many years to come!
My family and I are
Disneyland people (actually, we've never been to WDW), but I love reading WDW trip reports. Any way to get my Disney fix in is fine with me!!

) We're counting down the days until our next trip this fall. We're pretty excited to be going to two of the Mickey's Halloween Parties this year! They are so much fun!
I'm inspired by your healthy living! I've been wanting to get started in running, but my "routine" seems to only last a day or two! I'm going to be starting college in a few short weeks (where has the summer gone?), and have been wanting to set up a routine of running at least 3 days a week in the mornings (most likely Mon, Wed, Fri) . I would love to run outside, and we have a couple of nice trails around a lake by our house but with my allergies I just can't do it. And it's been getting so hot lately, if I do it any other time, it's wayyy to hot to run. I'm such a whine baby!! LOL We have a treadmill, so if I would just get my butt in gear, I could work out inside with the air conditioning. Anyway, I love seeing your updates about running! It gives me some motivation!
Sorry for hijaking your thread!! LOL
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hi there!!! WELCOME!!! I am so happy to have you here! Thanks for saying hi and letting me know you're reading along.
Yay for a Disneyland trip!!! Some day I hope to go there too! It looks like it's so fun, yet so different. And 2
MNSSHP - AWESOME!!!! That will be so much FUN!
Thanks! Running was kind of something I've stumbled into... It definitely wasn't something I had ever planned to do, since I knew my body couldn't do it. IMagine my shock? LOL I guess that's part of the reason I haven't been willing to change my other workouts and replace them with running... I am not sure - at which point - I consider myself "a runner"? Is it when I can do a 5k? Or a half-marathon??? I just don't know. So, that's why I just continue to do it on the side. I chose 3 days a week, just because that's what works for me... I am older (not sure how old you are?) so my joints - I don't think - can take a daily run, at least, not yet. And the one time I did my run, then did my heavy lifting the following morning - my joints just felt so weak. So, I decided to only run on my heavy lifting evenings... That way - my joints have time to recover before I have to lift again. Which gives me 2 days per week of running. Then - I've been feeling "antsy" on the weekends, so I threw in a Sunday morning run... I feel like the 3 runs are good for me now. My body is still getting used to it... I am not sore like I used to be... but I am pretty good about stretching and icing after each run, and any time I sit down in the living room for an extended period of time, I ice again. The ice really helps. I could probably get away with not doing it all the extra times, but it just feels good.

I wish I had some good avice about making running a habit, but I really don't - however - I will say that I've been spending (waaaay tooo much) time on Pinterest searching for running stuff - it is very motivating and really makes me want to get out there more. So, Pinterest "running" and you'll just want to throw down your tablet and get out there. LOL I wish you the best of luck in making it a good healthy habit in your life! I know you can do it, if it's something you really want!
You can hijack my thread anytime you'd like! Again - thanks for introducing yourself - I look forward to getting to know you better and cheering you on!

Absolutely nothing exciting yesterday... It's getting so HOT here!
I worked out in the morning... Then I worked in my sewing room for a couple of hours - finishing up a few projects and a custom order.
Then the girls and I decided to go hit the outlet mall... Bahaha... Yes, let's go to an outdoor outlet mall on the hottest day.

LOL We were miserable. But a friend of mine from work said she got the best deals on outdoor winter running gear at Under Armour there - so I wanted to see what kind of deals they had. Not much - I found out - at least not this time of year. Maybe earlier in the summer when they still have winter stuff left to get rid of?
I guess I am really gearing up to run in the winter... I have almost everything I need... I'd like to get a good hat with a pony tail opening in it. And I need to get the running Yacktrax... Maybe a bacalava? Then I think I am set. I will have to wash my running stuff after every 2 runs... But if I enjoy it - I think I'll be willing to invest in a 3rd set, so I'll only have to wash everything once a week. Maybe I can ask for some of it for Christmas too? There's an idea.

I am excited though... And I feel weird to be excited about running.
After the outlet mall, V and I dropped Alli off at work. She gave her notice at Starbucks yesterday. They have gone through 4 different managers since she started last year... and now they are down to no manager at all, and only 4 girls running the whole store. All of the girls are BEAT, so Allison giving her notice comes as no surprise to me. She has an interview next week at a different coffee shop - which doesn't seem to have staffing issues. Hopefully she is hired there.
V and I stopped at Culver's for dinner. Shocker huh? LOL I never eat there! But it was so hot, I was in the mood for some of their custard... So, each of us had a kids meal (perfect size for me these days, especially if I get the custard after) and dessert. It was delicious - but I went out of there STUFFED. I don't know how I ever ate an adult meal there? Almost scary in a way. But I enjoyed the hamburger and the BUN (which I rarely do - I think the last bun I ate was in Maine?) and even the fries. It was good and it hit the spot. I personally feel like allowing myself to eat things like that on occasion is what keeps me going and motivated. Would I ever eat at White Castle or McD's - probably not... And maybe Culver's isn't any different, but it feels like better quality? LOL Whatever the case may be, I enjoyed it. V and I sat there for about an hour, and played all of the games on our food bags... It was a lot of fun.

I'd forgotten how just a simple meal out and a food bag of entertainment could be so fun. BTW... It was cheap too - both of us ate for $10.
Anyways... We came home and did nothing the rest of the night. I consumed myself with FB, Pinterest and Google.
Not much going on this weekend. I plan to work in my sewing room a little bit.
I am considering taking a walk this morning... Before it gets too hot (I better get a move on that). Maybe go down and investigate some of the trails in a neighboring town? See if they are in the running for winter running? Provided they are cleared in the winter, of course. Or somewhat so.
Josh is on mandatory overtime all weekend. He is heading up a nation-wide project at work, that must take place over the weekend and finish before everyone comes into work on Monday morning. So, he's a busy guy. He is feeling much better... And he's been eating more normally - much to my distaste... I wouldn't mind if he did "mindful" eating normally... but he came home with a container of gilatto yesterday... C'mon dude - you still don't know for sure what is wrong, you need to be careful. Sigh. End rant.
I plan to be lazy for the rest of the weekend. Spending more time on The Dis... Pinterest... FB... You know.
Tomorrow I will do much of the same - except I'll replace my walk with a run.
I hope you all have a great weekend! Prayers and good thoughts to all of you!
