You gotta love when your ticker reads 30 days...it's almost hard to believe the time has passed this quickly! Peg and I were double checking all of our plans last night (it's a great distraction from all the real life issues we're dealing with) and making our list for Garden Grocer. Final preparation is my favorite

No free treats from DQ, they sponsor the entire 10U division. I think they get a coupon at the end of the year.

Still not sure if we will be getting to take a trip to Disney or not, but we do know that DD goes back to school on the 26th & if we get to go when we take her back (she's about 45 minutes south of Disney) we'll be checking in on the 28th. So we'll miss getting to see you guys.

This week Declan is in UNB Soccer Camp. That means Mom gets planning time (like everything isn't planned ) and a shopping trip with the girls

Well....a terrible thing happened yesterday. I went shopping The terribleness was that I only found 1 pair of shorts for our trip! Needless to say, this means I will be shopping again for a bit today. Most stores have their summer things on clearance here so keep your fingers crossed

On a serious note, for those of you who have been reading Queenofallthings PTR, or on whose threads she has commented, I am asking you to send your thoughts and prayers to her and her family today. Her mom is having surgery. We are hoping all goes well.

Those of you who have been reading along, or who have read declansdad's posts on MeMom and Queen's threads, know how much he shopping trip pics

So what's a wife to do but post some shopping pics of her own.
First though, a countdown update from Declan.

Last week we realised that the handle on one of our carryon cases had broken. New carry-ons it was (the fact that they were on sale BOGO half off was a BONUS!

Betcha can't guess which is mine??? Declan is disappointed he has to take last year's red one.

Due to the purchase of many items for last Christmas' cruise, we have only picked up a few new things for this trip:

Declan's flipflops and new T

His towel

And swim trunks

Mom's shorts and tops

And Dad's BIG purchase...

Even Declan commented as we were taking these photos "that's all Dad has??"

We have a few surprises in our travel bucket, one is this T-shirt.

Now its the unmentionables and generic stuff like toothpaste to pick up.

The suitcases are officially out! Just need my Mickey mail.

I LOVE your carry on...it's so nice!! Love the purchases...but you might have to tell that hubby of yours to pace himself with the shopping...he went a little overboard with his one purchase

You're right I do love shopping, the first and last 10 minutes of each trip. If they happen to be the same 10 minutes, so be it.

Totally off topic but today I attended funeral visitation for a friend who tragically drowned on Saturday. He was 43. The gentleman always had a smile for others and made you feel like you were the most important person around when he spoke to you.

Please send some prayers to his wife and two children (ages 10 and 8).
