That's so neat!!:cool1:

And let's see... I've been to:

50s Prime Time- a hit with our family, we've dined here every trip. The food is okay, but if you get a CM really into the whole theme, it can be hilarious and so much fun! Out of the TS places we've been to at Hollywoods Studios, this one is my favourite.

Boma- we ate here in July. It was okay, but I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of it *ducks*. We enjoyed our meal, but it's one that now we've done it, we don't feel a need to do it again. It's such a favourite here though, that I would definitely book it to see if it's something you love. Who knows, we might just be weird! LOL

Finally, tea at the Grand Floridian is just wonderful. We absolutely love it!! Here, I have a few pictures from previous visits, such a gorgeous, relaxed, luxurious place. Doesn't take the DDP, but still worth it IMO.

Oh, it was so fantastic. Next time it's in town I'm going to jump on the chance to see it. One of my favourite musicals, for sure!

I've never seen Disney on Ice, but that sounds like so much fun!! Hmm... I wonder if they make a stop in Toronto? But what a cute idea for Valentines! :goodvibes

Ooh I just checked Ticketmaster and I see two different shows playing in Canada in March. There's 100 Years of Magic and World of Fantasy. Are either of those the one you're going to see?

Eeep I'm so tempted to click "buy" now. See what the DIS will do to ya?:rotfl:

But thanks for the heads up!!

:lmao: Sorry you are tempted to buy tickets now. We are going to see World of Fantasy. I think it will be lots of fun for me, the fairies are going to be there and Little Mermaid, who I love. :goodvibes

What a strange coincidence...

the ticket sales for World of Fantasy in Toronto open up on...

Valentine's Day!!

Is that a sign from Walt himself??:rotfl2:

Whew! I was several days behind, but I am all caught up now. I a) Love your castle pic. Mind if I steal it for my computer background? b) Your pics from the tea look great...I may have to rethink my own choices....:p

You know what, I think it's fate that you need to go to that. ;)

Well you certainly can't ignore fate. Who knows what could happen? The seats for the other shows that are on sale right now aren't expensive at all (about fifteen bucks) so I bet I could find someone to come see it with me!

I would be honoured!! (Agh darn spell check not letting me spell words the Canadian way:rotfl: ). Glad you like it! Generally my pictures can turn out... questionable, so I was really happy with it!

And I know I have pictures of the tearoom itself on my computer, I've just got to figure out what folder I went and put them in.

OMG, are those chocolate covered strawberries?! So Yummy! :bitelip:

They sure are and OMG are they good! They're called Tuxedo Strawberries and were... 5 buck each? I think? I got them for my DM instead of a birthday cake (wouldn't it figure we were at Disney on her birthday last year?!) and she loved them. Neither of us are really "cake" people, so they worked out perfectly.

Aw, Eddy is so cute! DH and I really want to get a dog, but our house is just too...compact. :crazy2: We'll stick w/ our two cats for now. Congrats on adding more days to your Cali trip. That should be so much fun!! Any news on the hotel front?

Oh, love the pics of the tearoom! And, thanks. I did steal your castle photo. Now, I see it every time I open my computer. :goodvibes

Nope, no news yet on the hotel front and it's driving me crazy!! It feels so unsettling to not be the person in charge of picking the resort this time. But I do get to pick a resort for the few days after the conference, so I'm doing my research and trying to figure out which part of the LA area to stay in. We'll have a rental car so I know we can drive... I can't decide between a Disneyland hotel and a hotel near the beach! Any opinions?

The castle is just so beautiful with all the Christmas lights. It took my breath away when I first saw it lit.:goodvibes And the tearoom is so lovely. We ate there in the middle of our MK day (December 21 so MK was getting quite busy) and it is such a nice quiet respite from the parks! I just love it there.

Today I don't have time for much WDW planning... I've got work all day (therapeutic swim) so I'll be in the pool from noon till six working with the kids. I can already feel my skin pruning up!:rotfl: I'll just keep wishing and hoping for those

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :hourglass MAY HOURS!!!:hourglass :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

So. I just checked my 90 day ADR date on the wdwinfo.com calculator and...

it's January 31!:cool1: I didn't realize it was so soon!

We already have one ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table at 9:30 am, but I'm fairly sure that since we aren't going to do a dining plan (it's been decided!), I'm going to cancel it. From what I've read, it just doesn't seem worth the price. Plus we dinner there back in 2003 so although it's been a while, at least we have it crossed off our "never done it" list.

I know for sure I'm going to do an ADR for the GF tearoom. And that's all I know for sure.

My mom really wants to do a character meal... I'm thinking she would like Akershus, since she likes the princesses. However I always get all shy and embarrassed around face characters:rotfl: so I'd prefer something with Mickey or Pooh or something (plus then I can hug them!)

The Crystal Palace has always been a tradition for us, but we've never done breakfast there so we might try that. I know we're going to make a few breakfast ADRs for the Captain's Grille on the days we just want to sleep in and hang out at SAB in the mornings.

Other than that... I might try and get Le Cellier (lunch), Kona (lunch), Raglan Road (dinner) or Chef Mickey's (breakfast). I just can't settle on anything for sure without knowing which park we're visiting on which day. I'm thinking what we might do is each pick two TS restaurants and then do the tea.

I've been looking over all my food pictures (I take pictures of every bit we put in our mouths at Disney:rotfl: ) and trying to figure places we might revisit. I'll post my favourites in a bit!

The GF tea looks delicious, especially the strawberries and swan, pity I don't like tea though, yep I'm English and I don't drink tea :rotfl:

I hope you get all your ADR's on Saturday :goodvibes

Wow! That castle pic is awesome! I was only in WDW in December once and that was before the castle lights. I have to see those in person!

If you are doing a breakfast at Crystal Palace, schedule your ADR for first thing in the morning, before the park opens. You'll have an empty Main Street! And then since you are already in, once rope drop comes, you'll be one of the first at the attraction of your choice!:thumbsup2

Hope you had a good day yesterday with the kids in the pool! What a great job!:goodvibes

How cool! That's a great idea to have instead of cake. Oh of course you were at WDW on her birthday LAST YEAR and not this year when it's the celebration for it.

Oh, the lights are even more beautiful in person. Breathtaking.:goodvibes

I just love the idea of getting to get our pictures taken with an empty Main Street. If I can pry myself out of bed that early, I will definitely get the earliest ADR I can!!

And yesterday was great.:thumbsup2 The kids are (almost) always in great moods when they are in the pool and it's lovely to see them so happy. It's amazing the technology that has been developed so that even kids who are confined to wheelchairs can swim and play. I showered twice and STILL smell like chlorine though! Today I had a shift in the classroom and the little girl I was working with was nonverbal, but to see her eyes light up and smile when accomplishes something new is just the best feeling in the world. Sorry I'm chattering away about work so much, but I just love it.:goodvibes My poor friends and family are subject to it all the time! I come home every day with stories that can last until they shut me up.:rotfl:

I know, what great timing we have, huh?:rotfl2: But my mom still got great treatment for her birthday, so I can't complain. Our waitress at the tea room was great, she brought my mom a fresh pink rose and a little tiara.princess: It was really cute.

I should SO not be on the DIS right now, I have work to do but... planning is so much more fun than Excel.:rotfl: I'm starting to really think about restaurants now since I can do my ADRs on Saturday!! I think I might make up a tentative schedule of ADRs and then tweak them once the hours come out.

So far... the only restaurants I'm sure about are:

Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus (might as well face my fears! LOL)
Kona Breakfast
California Grill Dinner

Other than that... time to get checking menus!!

Now it's back to work!!:coffee:

Tonga Toast!!!!!! ::yes::

And get back to work missy! :rotfl: Don't feel bad, I'm putting off homework!

Well...

I did do SOME work... my brain just doesn't feel like functioning!:upsidedow

I'm off to see The Reader now to give it a little break.;)
