I know this thread is a few months old, but I've been searching for an answer. We ordered the special 50th bands and they just shipped today. We leave on Friday and with Thanksgiving this week I highly doubt they'll get here on time (they'd really have to be here tomorrow and the post office doesn't even have them yet). They were $30 each and it will be very disappointing if all we get is a gray one at the resort. They were also exclusives, so even a certificate won't replace them. Has anyone else had this happen and how was it resolved? The call times are too long while I'm trying to get ready, no chat option and email says it will be at least 10 days.
I wouldn't worry so much, but we do need new ones. Wore our old magic bands the last 2 trips and got no photos - I didn't realize the older ones (from 2019) were no longer submitting for the pictures. I do know that expectations need to be set very, very low for this trip, but you'd think after all this time Disney would know they shouldn't send them a couple days prior to a trip. It actually said I would pick them up from the front desk, but there's a tracking number to my house...
