My family just isn't as into planning as I am. I think they are actually starting to run the other way whenever they see me with my Disney Notebook. My youngest (DD7) has started teasing me by telling me she's just having "popcorn and frozen lemonade at Disney." My oldest (DD11) is turning into quite a foodie, but she's turning her attention to rides over ressies. My husband will do anything, he just wants me to take care of all the planning.

We were lucky enough to get the free QS dining for the last week of June after I explained to the CM that I really wanted to upgrade to the DxDP. (That CM is my new favorite person!) We've always used the DDP in the past and wanted to try the "loaded" plan. This actually saved us $100 from our original budget. Yes, I know that $100 would buy some cool Disney-stuff but we like the idea of an extra snack and the chance to do some 2 credit meals.

With that being said, here are my ADR's. I'd appreciate any feedback since my own troops have deserted me. :confused3

Arrival Day:
Lunch at Kona Cafe
Dinner at 'Ohana
(I know that's 2 Polynesian meals in one day, but I've had 'Ohana ressies since Jan. and no other openings. Also wanted to spend a little time at MK between meals.)

Day Two:
Lunch at Teppan Edo or Le Cellier (DD11 is voting Teppan Edo)
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

Day Three:
Lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater (DH's request - but I want Brown Derby since we have extra credits)
Dinner at Biergarten (Family Fave - we don't eat a lot but the girls like to dance during the show and DH loves German beer)

Day Four:
Breakfast at Tusker House
Dinner at Cape May Cafe

Day Five:
Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table
Dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

Day Six:
Morning EMH at MK
Late Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Dinner at Crystal Palace (last night at Disney tradition)

Each of us has 18 Credits and we have used 14. If we change to Brown Derby that will take another credit. I want to save a credit for breakfast on our departure day. This would also leave a couple of credits for breakfast or pizza IF we're still hungry.

Any comments or suggestions would be very helpful!!

Everything looks great. Instead of some of your 1TS dinners, could you go with a Signature restaurant or 2? Our personal favorites are California Grill (your girls would love it up there) and Yachtsman's Steakhouse. We also like Artist Point at WL. Either way, your plan looks good....have a great trip.

Thanks for the tip about the California Grill. We just changed our 1900 Park Fare ressie to Day Four. We'll have to wait till we come back to try Cape May Cafe. Now we'll be trying California Grill for the first time on Day Two, which we learned is an evening EMH so we can go to MK afterwards.

The CM on the phone explained that we can just show our dinner receipt and come back up for the fireworks. That will be a special treat for the girls.

You will not regret it, it is our favorite Signature restaurant. The view, food, service, and atmosphere is just awesome. We always get the first seating when we dine there (5:30pm) which lets us be able to sit by a window and watch MK at dusk....it is so pretty as the sun goes down, plus you can watch all of the attractions. Afterwards we go downstairs and take the monorail around the loop then when it is time for Wishes, we go back up to CG...and the CM was correct in telling you, all you need to do is show your dining receipt and they will let you back up. Watching Wishes out on the balcony gives such a different perspective of the fireworks. If you and your DH would like, get a glass of wine before going out on the balcony :goodvibes Have an awesome time and take tons of pictures.

Day Two:
Lunch at Teppan Edo or Le Cellier (DD11 is voting Teppan Edo)
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

I'd wave off either of these. Teppan Edo is basically Benihana, which is usually available in most major cities. Le Cellier was a good 1TS steakhouse, but I would not burn 2 TS credits for it. If you go LC, then go out of pocket.

Day Four:
Breakfast at Tusker House
Dinner at Cape May Cafe

Cape May disappointed us the first, and last, time we went.

Day Five:
Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table
Dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

I cannot recommend people avoid Hoop-Dee-Doo enough. The show is just OK but the food was really disappointing.

Le Cellier is only 1TS credit for lunch, it's 2TS credits for dinner.

I'd keep Le Cellier. I'm going again this year.

Hoop-Dee-Doo was great, went two years in a row (so each niece had a turn).

Has anyone had any experiene with Hollywood Brown Derby? My husband has said he would give up Sci-Fi but he needs a little convincing. What I've read says that service is slow. I don't want to give up a lot of time for a so-so meal.

We love the Hollywood Brown Derby!!! It's a family favorite and a must-do every trip! :thumbsup2 The food is wonderful and the service has always been excellent for us. :goodvibes
