We thought she was having a bad reaction to some prescription medication. When the nurse got up here and companies first responders she was able to tell them that she took 8 tablets when the prescription was 2. She had decided that 2 didn't work so she took 4 before she came to work.....still didn't feel good and took 4 more in less than 2 hours time.

:sad2:

I really don't understand ppl's logic like that. She od'd on 8 tablets, then whatever she's taking isn't for kids.

:sad2: It takes TIME for medicine to work .. people ..

Yes. And to come to work feeling that bad in the first place. That is the one thing I don't like about our "no fault point system". People are so afraid of getting fired. We work with a lot of heavy machinery, it's a busy, fast paced environment.........no place to be when you aren't feeling on top of your game and alert.

What medicine was it?

I'm not sure......something for stomach issues......she had her gall bladder removed recently. The nurse said but I don't know. I don't know that it was something that OD'd her or she just started feeling worse and panicked.....first they thought she was having an allergic reaction but didn't really seem that her airway was closing or anything like that, more like she was hyperventilating. Her aunt works here as well and came through said they had her on oxygen but hadn't had to pump her stomach or anything.
