Boys are too much, aren't they?

Saturday, I got bamboozled into taking my son and his two best friends to the mall. The two boys are brothers, and their mom gave me their money to hold.

In Kaybee, one of them wanted a package of fake blood capsules, which I wound up paying for him because I was at the register returning some stuff from DS's recent birthday.

Do you remember those blood capsules? You bite them, and it looks like your mouth is gushing blood.

Sunday afternoon, my son came into the house and grabbed me, "Mom, come see."

As we got near the door, he told me in a very serious tone of voice that he and his friend were wrestling in the grass, and his friend got a little hurt.

I opened the front door, and there was the friend with blood all over him. I nearly had a heart attack!

And then the three kids went hysterical laughing! Of course, it was the fake blood I bought! But did I think of that when I saw the kid? Duh!

They got me good, those little stinkers. :teeth:

LOL!! I know how you feel!! I had bought my oldest daughter (7) some of that spray candy, and of course it was red. My youngest daughter (almost 5) kept coming to me with a little spot of red on her arm, saying she was bleeding. I sent her for a tissue. She returned with it streaming down her arm. Of course I freaked, but even more when I wiped it off to find no wound!! Ugh. Got me! LOL

LOL...

Brings me back.. I was born with a small tumor on my tounge that was eventually removed, But when I was about 9 years old, I went into the kitchen and got red food coloring and poured it in my mouth.. I went into the living room with it dripping out of my mouth and told my mom that I bit my tounge.. Sheesh I was evil...I never did do that again.... And Hopefully my kids wont ever do that to me..

Heehee
I just pulled one of those I'm bleeding stunts about 5 years ago:teeth:
Mom and I were on a ladies retreat with our church at a local state park. I decided to go for a walk and ran into the ranger that was training some guys how to hunt an animal after it was injured. He had fake blood he was placing on the ground and leaves and such. I asked him if I could have a little. He put some in my hand and I went back up to the lodge. Mom was sitting in a classroom doing some crafts with some others and I walked up to her and said..."Mom I fell and hurt my hand when I was walking. I think I need stitches." At first she looked really funny, then she realized I wasn't upset enough to be hurt. (I have this issue with smiling and my eyes will give me away every time!) She just started laughing and said she wished she would have taken that walk and thought of it! Of course one of our friends came in during this and not realizing what was going on thought I was really hurt...she couldn't hear us talking.
Ok..so some of us never grow up!;)

One year for Halloween my brother was some kind of ghoul and he had one of those fake "wounds" on his cheek, all green and nasty and dripping blood. My mom had put it on him (he was about 5 I think) but my mom's best friend wasn't there when she did it. When Pat showed up, my brother came downstairs with this nasty wound on his face and Pat screamed and grabbed a towel and tried to stop the bleeding. My mom had to pull her off him and explain it was fake.

My brother was torn between being thrilled someone thought it was real and mad because she'd smeared it all up!:p

We had the mouth of whipped cream and the fake seizure last week. These boys are real jokers, aren't they.

Hey, when your son least expects it, you can do it to him!

LOL!
