Co worker just told me they dont wrap the gifts they just place them under the tree.

Not my idea of Christmas but hey....

i've never wrapped DD's gift from santa, but all the gifts from her dad and i are wrapped.

We wrap, but I have heard of folks setting the toys all up. Pretty neat idea, but not something we will ever do. But that means hubby is in charge of putting everything together on Christmas day.:lmao:

santa has special santa wrapping paper - you'll never see him wrapping our gifts with that paper :)

dd loves opening them (sometimes i think she likes opening gifts more then the gift itself lol) se we make sure to let santa know to wrap his gifts too

When I was a kid our presents from Santa weren't wrapped. Everything was set up and put together under the tree

Santa doesn't wrap, but Mom and Dad's gifts are wrapped.

Big gifts from Santa get put together and just get a bow. Smaller gifts get wrapped with the Santa paper! Some kids are just too smart to figure that one out.

Santa wraps in white tissue paper -- always has. Mom gives one present (everything else is from Santa and either IN the stocking or piled around it). It's in regular wrapping paper, unless it's something like a bike, in which case it's hidden away and a clue like "look in the garage" is wrapped in a box.

Santa's presents all arrive wrapped at our house, except of course the "big" presents. But 2 years ago Santa actually wrapped a trip to Disney!:cool1:

Santa doesn't wrap in our house, and builds all the toys so they are ready for playing right away. I can still make my husband shudder just by saying "Barbie House" :). Mom and dad gifts are wrapped.

Same at my house. We never had a thing wrapped. When we were old like high school we would give our Mom a hard time about never wrapping anything so she starting wrapping 1 thing!

Santa wraps in our house, using paper that's never been seen in our house. Santa is tricky, though. One year, DD's presents were wrapped in presents and then in paper. So she got a dozen LPS animals, rolled up inside of tights. And the playset wrapped into a folded robe. I forget what was inside the underwear.

Growing up Santa never wrapped my presents. I do wrap my kids because dh thought it was odd to not do it.

Each kid has one unwrapped gift from Santa waiting and set up and then all the other Santa gifts are wrapped in special paper.....the rest of us wrap for each other etc....Can't believe Christmas is so close!!!!

When i was little we got wrapped presents from the parents- LOTS!
and then Christmas Day was Santa- and all the toys were open and set up! My dad was great! We went to my aunt's house every year so he had to drive all the wrapped presents up there, then bring everything home andload up with the Santa stuff-set it up at my aunt's and then bring it all home again Christmas night.

My kids are older bit we used to do the same thing! Now I wrap everything as their gifts are smaller and more expensive! I let them open a few things at night- like pj's, sentimental gifts, maybe a game we can all play- and then in the morning they open the fun stuff!

Santa always used different paper. I accidentally used the same paper the following year and dd remembered so I told her Santa was being environmentally sound and left me the left over paper to use this year :rolleyes1

So that became a new tradition!

As a kid presents were always wrapped and all the presents were from santa. I do the same for my kids and always hid the wrapping paper making sure I didn't use it to wrap any presents I was giving to others. Now that they're 15 and 14 I no longer need to hide the paper;)

Growing up Santa gifts were wrapped in one type of paper and gifts from my parents were in another type - I continued this tradition for my DS. Unwrapping is half the fun :goodvibes

Now I still wrap everything but all in one type for each person. No need to use tags - works great :thumbsup2

Everything is wrapped at my house....I think it's bizarre not to wrap presents, but to each their own!
