You know how sometimes people say "LOL" but don't actually mean it? I'm actually laughing out loud at the pic of Popadon and the bra. Like, full-on giggle fit right here.
Pink drinks are my favorite kind of drinks so the La Vie En Rose slushie looks right up my alley.
SO sorry to hear about your broken toe

I hope you get good news at the three week mark!
I LOVE that HM coin purse!
Haha! Nice! Got a real LOL moment for you there. He can definitely do that.
If you like pink drinks, try Nuvo sometime. It's sparking fruit flavored vodka and it is also pink. It's a favorite of mine.
I hope I get some good news too. We'll see what three weeks tells us.
I love it too! I was so surprised when she gave it to me. It's totally awesome.
I have really enjoyed reading your TR thus far & can't wait to read the rest! So sorry to hear about your broken toe. I broke my foot 2 days before Thanksgiving this past year & my first thought was "how will this affect my Disney trips with all of the walking involved?". I hope it heals quickly. My advice- see an orthopedist. I made the mistake of seeing a regular family physician & spent an extra month in a boot because of that mistake. I am also interested in your conditioner + haircolor trick. I agree it fades fast & I'd appreciate any advice as to how to prolong the color. Looking forward to reading the rest of your TR!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
That's exactly my plan is to see an orthopedist in a few weeks. I want to get their word on it that it's healing okay and that I can get out there and start running again.
All I do to maintain my color is to mix Manic Panic in a pretty bright red in with conditioner. After I wash my hair, I mix it in with the conditioner, and I leave it in until I'm done with everything else (you know, body wash, face wash, etc). Then I rinse it out and add a little conditioner by itself and rinse again.
The other things that I do is wash my hair with sulfate free shampoo (loreal makes one called Everpure, which is what I use right now), and I also wash it in cool water, rather than hot. The sulfate free shampoo helps, because sulfates actually dry your hair and strip color. You do have to get used to it though, because sulfates are what makes the shampoo lather, so you have to get used to not lathering as much.
OH, also! I don't wash my hair very often either. Every five days or so. My hair is used to that, so it doesn't need it much more often, but that's a key too.
Crappy deal with your foot, and I know the feeling!! I broke my pinky toe multiple times now, once at night, then danced on it the next day and then went to disney the day after
i think it was actually the trip that i first met you on too!
I hope it heals quickly so you can get back to running!!
Great updates! Love all the dismeets and all the pictures, you got some great ones!!
I remember that! I think it was when we first met each other. I'm being more cautious with it because of my running the Princess Half in February.
