After being told by WDTC serveral times that email confirmations can be sent for room only reservations, I spoke to a CM who was able to send me one for my MYW reservation. These look nice.

How is it that the vast majority of CMs have no idea how to accomplish this, but I get one that offers to send it to me and I have it in 30 minutes? :confused:

Does anybody else get a lot of "sorry we can't email you a confirmation" when you have requested it?
 
I never knew it was an option, either. If I did, I would have requested it long ago.

What we need is for someone who gets it done to ask the CM for the procedure, so we can pass it on to other CMs who don't know it!
 
Ever since I gave them my email address, I've always gotten email confirmations. They never ask me if I prefer snail mail or email. It did take 12 hours the day the AP codes were released last week, but I did get it eventually.

Good idea! I specifically remember them asking for my email address, too. I thought it was for an advertising list.
 
I have never had that problem. I booked my package and had the email within a few hours. I didn't get anything in the mail.
 
Well the CM's confirm for me each time my email address and I never get an email confirmation. I always get snail mail. Funny they always say "your email address is ....." but then I never get an email!:confused3
 
She was very nice and actually offered. This is the first time in all my planning and trips since 2002 that this has been offered by a CM.

I have asked probably more than 10 CMs and each of them have told me this is not possible because my booking is with WDTC instead of CRO. Obviously it is not true. ;)

If I get that CM again, Velma, I will ask her and post it. She was one of the nicest and most helpful CMs I have ever spoken to.
 
I got mine within 30 minutes of making my reservation. Make sure you check your spam mail. That is where my email confirmation went.

No lie, the last 7 or 8 times I have called, I have had to correct my email addy for them (its always off my one letter or number), but each time they tell me they have it and the very next time, it is wrong again???

Yep!!! 3/4 of the time I call they have the wrong telephone number (one from like 4 years ago), wrong address (from my old house) and wrong email address (from 2 years ago). They confirm they change it each time, but it is wrong almost every time.

I have had a few CMs try to tell me that is not possible and that I must be the only one, but on occassion I will get an honest CM who tells me this happens to the majority of their return guests who have moved or changed any information since their registration.

I don't get how a company that large cannot run a simple program that reflects accurate information. :rolleyes:
 
The cast member I spoke with told me I'd receive my confirmation via email, and she confirmed the address. :thumbsup2
