I cant believe the studio's daughter showed up dressed like she did. Thats not fair that they were allowed to go up not being prepared. I would have been really ticked off too. How unprofessional of the owner.

I love the air brush shirt you got for her. Very cute. Did it come with the ribbons tied for sleeves or did you do that yourself? Its adorable! Morgan's studio colors are brown and teal so I know the feeling about getting everything to match the studio! Anyway, that t-shirt is adorable. I kinda like the blue and green. anything to get away from the pink and black most studios have!

The pictures with her friend are so cute! What a great thing to put in a scrapbook. I love the backbend one. so cute. Cat is a doll.


Oh, I keep meaning to ask you or comment about R&RR (I know its like way late for that but I keep forgetting! ) You said you think the launch is faster than California Screamin' Really? AWESOME! I told dh that and he was reallly excited too. Morgan might want to go on that but my son is too little so we are thinking of putting the kids in the Neverland club so we can go do this one night together. Sounds like so much fun!

Anyway, tell Cat GREAT JOB and can't wait to hear how great next year is for her.

How much dance does she take? Does she do it every day? I know you made a comment once about how many hours per week that she dances and I was wondering how many that was. My DD only takes 1 hour per week now but I would love to get her into more, if she wants to.

sounds like you guys had fun at Prime Time. We have been on the fence about this one for our upcoming trip. If they said something to my son he would be horrified and probably the rest of the day would be ruined. I guess I could tell them to pick on mommy and daddy and not him but who knows. Plus, he NEVER finishes his plate.

I have other thoughts but its late so I'll write more tomrrow when I can remember them clearly!

We really enjoyed Prime Time. They really don't pick on the kids and they never said a word to Cat about not eating everything. I think the CM are really good a figuring out who wants to play and who doesn't.

Aww...loved the dance update! It must've been nice to have a mother/daughter weekend. Cat is so pretty and as I mentioned before, it brings back memories of my dance days! So feel free to put as much dance stuff into your TR as you want! Also, very excited about a new Disney update as this is my favorite TR! But, shh....don't tell the others!

It was nice to have the time just her and I. She was such a sweet kid the whole time that we really were able to bond and just enjoy things. Dance is pretty much done (well until Aug.1st anyway!). And don't worry I won't say a thing LOL.

That would have totally pissed me off!

I was pretty upset. It sucks that her daughter is in Cat's company because she gets singled out for a lot of spotlight things. She is an okay dancer but there are much stronger ones in the group... she was also the one where her mistake happened to be shown on the big screen.

I would have been a lot more angry about it but Cat wasn't upset at all and I guess it was best to follow her lead and have her all happy. Her lil friend also made a big mistake and Mom B was making sure to point it out and I was trying to just keep everyone chill

Oh I told her you said congrat and she pouted at me and said "Why? We didn't get platinum!" Little perfectionist child over here! I told her (for the millionth time) that they did good and she just looked at me like I was crazy.

I put the bows on her shirts. I love tying up her tops like that and keep extras with me just in case.

The launch is faster I promise, you don't get the thrill of being shot uphill but the first thing after the launch is a nice inversion. Plan on stocking up on FP early. It gets busy and stays busy. You can do what we did and spend the day at DHS, getting FP when your window opens (and extras with Morgan's ticket) and then after dropping her at Neverland go back and use the expired FP. I promise they wont say a thing.

Thanks! She takes a lot. She goes Tues, Weds, Thurs from 4 till 7 on each day (She does get a 15min snack break though). Monday she has girl scouts (90 mins) and Saturday morning she takes a hour long private gymnastics lesson, but school still comes first at our home.

She is taking Acro Tech, Dance Tech, Lyrical, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Production. How old is your DD? If your studio is more Ballet based vs Competition based or even rec based makes a difference too.

If she is young I think three classes a week is a nice solid start, especially if they have a technique class (no recital dance but again no costume costs ) Honestly Cat is not like most kids, she lives dance but like I said 3 classes a week is great for most girls, stuff the learn in other classes really helps them build a solid dance foundation.

My studio's company wins a ton of awards

They do a fantastic job. I know some of the girls in the "mini" company (ok, so I know all of them!) and they're such sweeties (they're about 8-12 years old). Their energy onstage is amazing

I usually take Tap, Ballet, Jazz. I do love watching Hip Hop, too. I just lost my best friend there (she's moving to Florida)

OMG! 3 girls in our studio have that same shirt! We love Katrina wear because its the few places that sell the brown in everything from leos, booty shorts, skirts, pants etc. Thats so funny you picked it out too! We have the same taste! It is cute isnt it? I should grab that for Morgans birthday next month.

I'm so glad you posted what the CM told you regarding fastpass return times. At DL you can come back whenever so we hoard them for night time. We are like chipmunks right before winter gathering fastpasses. I'll keep in mind not to do this at EPCOT and that they might not take them at MK. For Rock N Rollercoaster WOOHOO! I'll take your advice. Great thing is we have a 5 year old son too so we can get Fastpasses from his ticket too! Score!! An inversion sounds so cool! we watched that being built and had to move before it was finished so I've never got to ride on it. I'm so psyched!

Thanks for all the well wishes... He called me at lunch and I hope he is just playing and there will be a surprise later because He didn't seem to remember at all... and I reminded him a few days ago just to be nice!

Anyway I pulled up the oldest picture I had of us together. We had been dating about a month and we hiked up to the top of Wolf Rock. Don't worry within days of this picture I had him cutting his hair.Oh yeah and I used to dye my hair red... I dunno it was a phase I liked the fact I could be my natural pale self and still look good.
