when I said "if we're doing the dining plan we need to figure out how many people are going and where we want to eat asap." DH and MIL kept dragging their feet (the number of people wanting to go kept increasing) about getting final numbers and restaurant choices. Finally I decided that I knew of 7 people and I picked the restaurants, if there were more people, they were on their own.

Called last night to make ADRs and they are definitely filling up very quickly for Jan already. We had to switch nights at Le Cellier and even though we got in, still had to split our party up. We only had one real disappointment, LTT, the woman on the phone couldn't make reservations there at all after the 5th. Here's what we got:

1/10 Mama Melrose 5:55pm
1/11 1900 Park Fare: 7:20pm
1/12 Le Cellier: 5:20pm (have to be split though at 2 4 top tables)
1/13 Tutto Italia: 8:00pm
1/14 Chef Mickey Breakfast: 9:30am
1/14 50's PTC: 6:55pm
1/15 Coral Reef: 7:50pm

I think the CMs on the phone are a little confused about the gratuities though because they kept telling me they were included. I specified asking "the 18% is automatically added to our bill because we're a party of 6 or it's included in the dining plan and we don't have to pay it?" I was told it's included in the dining plan, which I don't believe, lol. Both CMs I talked to told me this.

Your picks look great. We got split up at ressies for HDDR; when we got there they put us all at one table, so here's hoping the same happens for you. I agree with you about the gratuity; I think it's included because of your party size.

That's good to hear! We'd love to all be able to sit together. We're actually split for Mama Melrose too, but the CM told me she put in a reservation for a table for 6 and 2 and a request for a high chair (DD will be 2 mos) and to ask for the high chair to be put at the table for 6 so then we can all sit together. Don't know how that will work, but we'll see!
