So we are still waiting to close on our DVC membership. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but Disney has started putting hidden Mickey's everywhere!

The bad news is that the Hidden Mickey Vision problem doesn't go away... it just gets worse.

Unfortunately, now you are vulnerable to the dreaded "Addon-itis". There is no vaccine to protect you from addon-itis. No personal protection gear. No way to avoid it. It's coming for you. Good luck.

There is a cure though... if you add on. It is temporary until a new strain come out, which the cure for that is adding on, then repeat..

We don't have any direct points... so can't stay at RIV... maybe when the Poly tower starts selling I should....

Luckily we found a great deal for BCV for 360 points. So we have enough for one bedroom stays and then some. When purchasing the idea was a week at HHI in a 1br and a week at BCV in a studio each year, with the occasional extended family trip and just doing a week in a 2br at BCV that year.

So hopefully we actually have enough points to hold the add-on-itis off for a while. If not, the add-on-itis might take the form of renting condos for the beach trips as I hear HHI is rough trying to get anything in the summer unless you own there.

I consider that less of a cure and more like killing Obi-Wan. You may get temporarily relief, but he will be back - and stronger.
