Good Morning Movers and other MAYers!

Lake - only two days til the new house! That is so exciting!

We are getting our deck refinished. Hopefully they will come out today and finish the job. It is very clean, they just need to put the finish on.

I need to get the oil changed in the car and a few other misc. things today. Why are there always "things" that need to be done. :sad2:

I need to schedule the repair for my car. Good grief, it never ends!

Thank you Patricia!!!!! I knew you would come through for me!!!

I'm a little jealous too Lake. :guilty:

But I hope you have a fabulous trip Jo!!!! Have a Mai Thai for me!

Lake - Station Square works for me. Here's the link... If you look under 'Attractions' it shows all of the stuff that you can do down there, Just Ducky Tours, and The Gateway Clipper are boat tours around the city. All of the info about the incline and the fountains.

If you look under 'Guest Services' you'll see a link for all of the dining options. :goodvibes Pick whatever you like! I have been to most of them - if you have any questions let me know!

Thanks for the link heather!!! :)

Shelly since your son and my daughter can sometimes be pickier eaters do you have a restaurant suggestion. We did hard Rock Cafe last year, so a different one would be great.

The Italian place looks good..my kids love pasta as do Jason and I.
And the prices seem very reasonable.

We have never eaten at any of the other chains...so I'd need recommendations on them. But we like a lot of things, we just arn't seafood people.

I'm excited!!! Looking forward to meeting you both.:woohoo:

I wish I could but the date doesn't work.

It's our town's BIG festival's final day. Not being here for it would be like skipping Christmas or something. I would not be forgiven by my kids...ever.

You're going to have so much fun!

:( I'm sorry you can't come with us Trixie.

RF and Shelly...

After we leave the outlet to come downtown, that would give us some time to check in to our Pittsburgh hotel, change and freshen up and meet you all for dinner. I want to look my best for you all, and have time to remind my children to be on their best behavior ... :lmao:
Shelly..I'll make sure they speak proper english for your DS..:rotfl:
( no canadianisms eh???).. I still think that is so cute.

We've never been to the Italian place. But we would be up for giving it a try. One place we like there but I don't see it listed on Station Square's site is Houlihan's. . . but here's a link I found - http://www.houlihans.com/LocateUs.aspx?Region=Pennsylvania Last time we sat in the outdoor section and watched all the happenings at Station Square, it was nice.

DS10 just said - Not Hard Rock Cafe. :confused3 Guess he didn't like it. . . It probably wouldn't be a good place to meet anyway, it's so loud in there!

I'll check it out too.

What time would be good... since you have to make the drive as well.?

OK, well Buca Di Beppo is the Italian place and it is good. Mmmm... Very good! They serve everything there 'family style' so all of the portions are huge and meant to be split between either 2 or 4 people, sometimes more. It may be a fun way to get to know each other!

"Hey Lake, do you mind if Bob has a bite of that lasagna"

"Sure Bob go ahead...but just know I'll be stealing your Gelato afterwards."!..:lmao:

Ooooh, I love Houlihans! Really good food, but not stuffy. And they have good drink specials, like $5 Long Island Iced Teas that they serve in little pitchers. We go there for happy hour sometimes after work.... I don't know if you guys drink at all or not. I don't drink a whole lot, but those are g-o-o-o-o-d.

It would be nice to eat outside and watch the fountains.

Oh - and from my new house... It would only be a 15 minute drive for me! Maybe you guys could come see it!!! :)

It probably doesn't matter. It doesn't look as is DH is getting his over-time back anytime soon, or ever! So basically that means we are free on Saturdays!

When we go down there we usually try to go a little before the dinner rush, just makes it more pleasant, you know? We almost always eat a little early when we are out with the kids. But it really doesn't matter. Whatever is best for you!

Shelly...is there lots for the kids to pick from there!!! The desserts look yummy and lots on the menu. Eating outside sounds great. This could be a winner.
