Sea~I couldn't see your pics last night for some strange reason, but now they're there...how cool!

Jay just seems like a hilarious uncle or something, doesn't he?

I wanna meet famous people!!!

We did the zoo, and heinz field, the science centre, and the children's museum and the natural history museum... yep jammed it all in there.
We really liked the zoo... so we'll probably do it again... ??? what is Kennywood like???? or Sandcastles even ???? (I'll go back online to visit Pittsburgh.com...they sell tickets to everything at very reduced rates there.)

I do know we'll stop at the outlet this time, on the way home likely. Do a night or two in Pittsburgh, and maybe the last one in Grove City across from the outlet.

Well, it isn't Disney! But it is a good old fashioned amusement park. :goodvibes I think it's a lot of fun! Majority of the roller coasters that they have there are wooden, so that's a totally different experience if you've never been anywhere like that. I like it!

Sandcastle's is fun too and it's right next to the Waterfront, which has my fav restaurant P.F. Changs :thumbsup2 There's shopping and restaurants, a Loewes movie theater... So, that's pretty fun too. There's lots of choices here. I guess you don't realize it when you live here and see them all the time. :confused3

We went to Kennywood once and weren't really impressed. It was hot and CROWDED and there were no fastpasses!! :confused3:rotfl: We've never been back. I guess for us it is only a little further to drive to Ohio to Geauga Lake and it is much better.

DS and I went to the Pittsburgh Zoo last year on his field trip. I wasn't really impressed with it either. I don't know, the kids just aren't really into zoo's that much anymore and I guess I never really was. I just thought it was okay.

Never been to Sandcastle. Would love to go there sometime!

Sounds like you missed Station Square. You've got to go there! It's just a really fun atmosphere. Kind of like DTD, but not as big or great of course! :rotfl:

RF~I'm so excited for you!!!

RF/Shelly/Lake~I'm so jealous of you planning your get-together!

I've been telling you to take a summer trip to Pittsburgh!! :yay: Come on, just do it - it's not that far!!! It would be worth it to meet 3 other MAYers, wouldn't it??!! :snooty:

We did do Station Square... my kids played in front of the dancing fountain for a while and we had dinner there..Planet hollywood/ or was it a hard rock cafe...hmmmmm!!!

But that may be an idea of where to meet as well.

I'll keep you posted as to when exactly our trip to the "burgh may occur.

Lake - RF - Shelly - I'm jealous over here that you guys are planning to meet up....

The boys love that dancing fountain. Everytime we go I take a change of clothes for them so they can get as wet as they want! It's Hard Rock Cafe that is right there behind the fountain!

Keep us posted on your trip plans. Hopefully we will be all moved by then. I'm having trouble with my bank now. Appraisals are taking 6-8 weeks. :sad2: That's well past our closing date.

The bank was our hold up to!!! 6-8 weeks that is just crazy!

I know!! Apparently they are "overloaded" with refinances because of the rates being so low that they are way behind on their appraisals. "There are only so many appraisers" blah blah blah. . . . I think I know what I should do when I grow up - become an appraiser!!!

It's not hard, actually! I had a friend who was doing appraisals while she was in college!!! Not bad money for the amount of work, either. :rolleyes1

6 hours 46 minutes for me by car. :faint:

What was the airport you told me to check into before???

And how much farther from you to Hershey again?

Great idea! Since it appears that less and less of us will make the MAY WDW Meet, let's have an August Pittsburgh Meet!! :cool1: Anybody??? Sea, it could be a bit of a trip for you, but you did mention once wanting to come to PA. . . .

Hmm. . . I wonder what is involved in becoming an appraiser? I have always been interested in real estate, but not in becoming a realtor. . .

Oh that's less than 7 hours, what are you complaining about??? :lmao:

The only major airport around here is Pittsburgh. There is one in Youngstown OH but it only has flights from there to Sanford-Orlando and back.

Hershey is about 4 hours east of here. Are we moving the meet to Hershey??? We're up for that too! :thumbsup2:rotfl:
