These are NOT the rooms that I paid for! 3 Resorts in 10 days - Trivia Answers 9/3

This is a cool picture!

And, of course, your room is totally amazing. Still! Yup - It hasn't gotten any less amazing! And the view - perfection! I'm surprised you left to go to the parks at all. :rotfl:

And then you dished Bo! How could you? :faint: In your defense it was probably because his many adoring fans were clamoring around him. :rotfl:

Cute pictures of the two of you in HS.

OMG Brenda! I thought I was subscribed to your report and sadly I was not!

What AN AWESOME room upgrade! That is unbelievable! I can understand wishing you were there longer than the 3 nights but I have a feeling that might be why you were upgraded as your reservation fit the slot they needed!

But so totally awesome! I don't think that upgrade will ever be topped!

That is a total bummer on Y&Y only having the discount on entree's! I thought it was on the whole meal.. I guess I would have to dig out my receipt! Oh well. It's not like its going to stop those of us without a dining plan from going lol.

Can't wait to read more!

Ok, I've been practically drooling for the last 20 minutes thanks to the revelation of this snack! Just jotted it down on my 2014 Disney plans notes!

Happy Saturday Dave! Yes, eggs are peeled, chilled, and in the past they had a sprig of dill as a garnishment... guess Disney is cutting back. :p Now if they would just deliver that delicious food to your room, now that would be service!! :upsidedow

Happy Saturday to you too Brenda! Yes, they should offer the food delivery service although I worry they may just charge you 1 TS credit just for the delivery from the dining plan. ;) Especially for people staying in your suite. Since when does an Admiral or Celine Dion fetch their own food? :rotfl:

Sorry, I am behind but WOW, what an amazing surprise!!! I really thought from your title you had been downgraded!:lmao: I had never even heard of the Admiral Suite before this. The suite is stunning.

So pleased for you, as you said, it was a shame you only had 3 nights there but at least it was BLT you were going to next.

I can't get enough of that suite. It is so gorgeous. That sunroom would be amazing. It's too bad you guys have to hit the parks. Its good to know that YC is only 15 minutes from DHS.

Great couple of updates. :goodvibes

Thanks so much for sharing the very detailed touches in the room.

A great call on cancelling breakfast to get some treats at the lounge. The coconut pastry is my very favorite offering at the lounge on the mornings they have it.

I think there are trays you can ask for to transport your food. I love that you have so many options for places to eat in your suite!

Nice walk over to HS. I appreciate the pictures you took along the way. I have only done this walk, in reverse, at night.

What a nice mellow morning.

Are those suitcases new? I don't remember ever seeing them before and in fact, during our June trip, we were charged with noticing all of the period details along that boulevard as part of our Y.E.S. class.

Ursula, huh??? Not sure I buy that! I have never even heard of the "You are most like" activity. Is it in the Art of Animation building (where I have never been since our first trip to MGM when the animation attraction was one of the few actual things to do at the park.

Wow Brenda what great details in the suite!!:thumbsup2 I really enjoyed reading about it all.

We always walk to DHS from Beach Club also. It is such a nice walk by the water.

I need to try one of those carrot cookies!! I keep hearing about them. Will try one in about 2 weeks.:goodvibes

Enjoying your updates!

I think of Stringbean and Wingnut when I see this...

:goodvibes Awww seeing pictures of SBP gets me so excited for this October!!! :)

I can imagine it would be hard to get moving in the morning with that beautiful suite you were staying in!!! Such amazing detail, what a fun treat for you guys!

LOVE the carrot cake cookie!! :thumbsup2

Amazing upgrade and how great that it went to someone who truly appreciated it pixiedust:
I'm loving your TR.

I love that map of Narragansett Bay! I lived in a beach house in Gansett for two years in college-- a gorgeous area and a very appropriate map for your beautiful suite! :thumbsup2
Yummm, I also love that carrot cake cookie! The frosting is just perfect.

Amazing details in your suite!! I love Disney and the wonderful little details they provide. :goodvibes

I must stay CL someday! What nice offerings!

I cannot wait for a carrot cake cookie! You mentioned them in previous TRs and ever since then it has been on my must do Disney snack list!! :goodvibes

I know it needs some updating but I still love GMR lol! And cute pictures in Hollywood Studios! (am I the only one that still wants to say MGM? :rolleyes1)

I had no idea that the carrot cake cookie was anywhere but the writers stop! Good to know.

What a lovely morning, I'd have had a hard time leaving that suite as well and your breakfast looked delicious.

Adorable top, and a really great color on you!

I got so behind from my trip but I am caught up now!

What an awesome night in new fantasyland! We just had one of those nights with no wait for anything and it was glorious.

Just saw the other updates- those pink hidden mickeys in the carpet are amazing!!!

Hi Rachel! Makes me want to go to FL late on EMH nites. It was perfect with the short lines.

Yay - you travelled down Route 66!

I must admit than mine and DH's luggage didn't look quite so glam and exotic as yours though - more like two dusty and battered suitcases that had been dragged from England!

I can totally see Em as Tinkerbell but you are nothing like Ursula!!

Oh and I am a huge fan of the Carrot Cake Cookie - yummy!

Hi Linda! Yes, we thought of you guys when we saw that Route 66 sign!

You know, Ursula's not that bad... her good qualities are trying to help poor unfortunate souls. :rotfl2:

This is a cool picture!

Cute pictures of the two of you in HS.

Why thanks MK! That was a lucky shot. The rest of my photos stink!

I have no idea what I was thinking by ignoring Bo but don't worry I made it up to him. He does appear to have a following. Quite a feat for a guy who is so short on words. :)

OMG Brenda! I thought I was subscribed to your report and sadly I was not!

No worries Paula. It is hard to keep track of everyone's sometimes. I have trouble jumping in on time when new ones start since I keep going back to my subbing list before I visit the boards. Then I feel bad... But anyway... no worries!

Hey, don't you leave soon to go back to WDW? Did you decide to do a split-split stay? We'll have to catch up.

You are so right. No AP discount isn't going to keep me away from Y&Y. Never!

Ok, I've been practically drooling for the last 20 minutes thanks to the revelation of this snack! Just jotted it down on my 2014 Disney plans notes!

Yes Dave! Do not forget that little goodie. It will be worth the wait!

Ha! I wonder what the CL folks would think if someone called down and asked them to fetch some food for them! ;) Ok, I would NEVER do that... I have a teenage who I can make do that for me!

Hi Lisa! Ha, yes, my TR title may be a little misleading... had to throw people off the scent! :)

We do love BLT so we did have that to look forward to after leaving YC.

I can't get enough of that suite. It is so gorgeous. That sunroom would be amazing. It's too bad you guys have to hit the parks. Its good to know that YC is only 15 minutes from DHS.

Thanks OJ! I can't believe that I overlooked your PTR from your signature! You are a hoot! I just subbed. :thumbsup2

Yes, we did leave the room to visit the parks... considering many of our dining reservations were in the parks it was unavoidable!

That suite is amazing, Brenda! I would've been crying too!

Hi Denise! Thanks! Yes, real tears! :)

What an incredible upgrade. So exciting. Loving all of your photos.

HI Susan! Yes, it was pretty sweet! Thanks!

Great couple of updates. :goodvibes

Dee you had me wondering about the suitcases at DHS. I tried to find some photos of that area from past trips and I don't see any. I do know they used to have one of the cars dispayed on that side of the street so it appears they mix up the props occassionally.

Ha! As noted for Linda, Ursula isn't all bad!! Yes, the interactive console thingie is in the Art of Animation building against the far wall. They have these at Disney's California Adventure as well.

Glad to see your city getting back to normal or at least some sense of relief. :)

Wow Brenda what great details in the suite!! I really enjoyed reading about it all.

Enjoying your updates!

Hi Doreen! Thanks, I enjoyed sharing the details.

I don't necessarily like the walk in the middle of summer but it is a great 15 minute stroll from the Epcot hotels.

You will have to let me know how you liked the carrot cake cookie if you get a chance to indulge. Remember you can get them at 2 locations in DHS - Beverly Sunset Sweet Spells and Writer's Stop by Sci-Fi. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Sarah! Thanks! I will always think of you when I see that pavilion now. :goodvibes And yes, we didn't ever move too quickly to leave the room. It was a nice place to look forward to returning at the end of every day.

Mmm carrot cake cookie! Wish I could have one know lol

Hi Patti! Me too! ::yes::

Amazing upgrade and how great that it went to someone who truly appreciated it pixiedust:
I'm loving your TR.

Hi Johnsonet! Thank you so much. That is sweet of you to say! Thank you for reading. :)

I love that map of Narragansett Bay! I lived in a beach house in Gansett for two years in college-- a gorgeous area and a very appropriate map for your beautiful suite!
Yummm, I also love that carrot cake cookie! The frosting is just perfect.

Hi Kylie! I had to google the location since I wasn't familiar with the area. It looks so rich in history (obviously!) but how cool that you lived there! I suppose the decorative team knew what they were doing with that piece.

Yes, everything about that cookie is perfect!

Amazing details in your suite!! I love Disney and the wonderful little details they provide.

I must stay CL someday! What nice offerings!

I cannot wait for a carrot cake cookie! You mentioned them in previous TRs and ever since then it has been on my must do Disney snack list!! :goodvibes

Hi Nicole! It was so fun to explore and see all the details in the room. There was so much to see.

More CL options coming up... they really do a great job with the CL options.

You have a great memory. Those cookies have made an appearance in my last 4 TR/DRs.

As for MGM, our 1st visit in 2006 was when it was still MGM so it took me a little while to get used to the new name.

I had no idea that the carrot cake cookie was anywhere but the writers stop! Good to know.

What a lovely morning, I'd have had a hard time leaving that suite as well and your breakfast looked delicious.

Adorable top, and a really great color on you!

Hi Cynthia! I think Writer's Stop is the most well known for those cookies but I landed on getting them at Beverly Sunset/Sweet Spells and keep returning.

Thanks for the fashion comment! :)

Just for you and eveyone else who has caught onto my obsession with the lovely carrot cake cookie... I give you the following:

Apparently I didn't "discover" these cookies until 2011.

I love the view of Crescent Lake! What a great room, and the portholes, what a neat detail. How far is the Yacht Club to DHS? We have an ADR at the Yachtsman in October.... Love your pics from DHS, and that carrot cake cookie.... Looks scrumptious!

Scratch the distance question! I must have missed it the first time.... I obviously need more coffee!
