I think I may be in the minority, but I love this new "Celebrations" theme for 2009. I saw on here that they are having a "What Will You Celebrate?" tour starting this week that's going to a bunch of different cities and they are coming to Milwaukee on October 1st! The only thing is I then went to the official Disney site to see if they had more information and they don't. So I have no idea where it will be or what time. But it might be interesting to go. Gotta get a little bit of Disney magic, you know.

Oh yes, and there was a preview of the TV commercial as well and let me say it is soooo adorable. You can find it here So sweet!

This will be the first time I've ever "complained" about having a b-day in late July. Holy hot and humid!! Not sure I can take it. But I may have to try!!

Well we're down to 86 days until our trip, woo hoo!! And to help pass the time we're going to go to some events that they're having in the Milwaukee area.

Here's what we have planned so far:

1.) The Disney "What Will You Celebrate?" Tour...October 1
This isn't officially planned but like I said, I think it would be so much fun to go to this. Now I just need for them to announce more details to see if it's possible to go.

2.) Marquette Madness...October 25
The official kickoff of basketball season! We're pretty big sports fans in our family and we have season tickets for MU. I'm going to miss being in the student section though.

3.) Tour of Gymnastics Superstars...November 13
Man I am so excited for this! Many of the gymnasts who were in the Olympics are supposed to be there along with a few others. We went to a show like this after the 1996 Olympics (when the women won the gold in Atlanta!) and it was a lot of fun. Can't wait!

4.) Radio City Christmas Spectacular...November 15
It's a little early for a Christmas show, but Mom and Dad went to one a few years ago and they said it was really good. So this year we're all going to go.

So between all of these events and subbing, hopefully the time is going to fly!

I do love the new promotion though and I'm so glad you don't have to get the free ticket as we'll have AP's.

And we've just found out we'll be going (on both our birthdays ) next year with our two friends They went to NY for a week or so and them coming next year depended upon if Charlotte was ok flying that far, as she doesn't like flying - I'm so excited

I was talking to Emma the other day and I mentioned something about how I would like to go to another new restaurant on this trip. I particularly want to try the Whispering Canyon Cafe...it seems like a blast there! Emma also thinks it would be fun, so we may try to make an ADR for there (either for lunch or dinner...probably whatever we can get!), though I'm not really sure if anything will be available. No harm in trying though. So stay tuned!

Can't believe I'm so far behind I was sure I'd posted before now!?! Anyway, all caught up now! Love all the pins, I think that's why I've never started with pin trading, as I would never trade any of them!

ixiedust: for the ADR at WCC! Keep trying, we managed to get booked in again for dinner in November when we had to cancel all our original ADRs for just now, so I should think you'll be OK. It sounds fab, earthfairies recommended the platter/skillet, and i saw a photo of the cactus margarhitas! I'm havin myself one of them!

Goodluck with going for your birthday next year - what's a little bankrupty between friends?

I also can't wait for HSM3 to come out - I'm more excited than the kids! LOVE LOVE LOVE those films! We're also booked to see HSM and HSM2 on ice in December! 'Soarin...flying!'

Dr_Finkelstein do you mind me asking (roughly) how old you are? I'm just interested in the fan base, I feel a bit old myself (28 next month) but it's good to know there are other grown ups that love HSM
On the Disney Channel over here they've started to show the interviews with Vanessa and Zack more to come.
When is the movie out there? Your DC seems so much better (apart from the commercials - we don't have any here (just for other DC shows)) we were watching some New Years videos on You Tube, I'd love one day to be in the States for New Years but only to watch the DC

Yeah, it's crazy that all our birthdays are in a week! I don't think we'll be going in March...I guess there's talk of maybe going to New York around then (and my sisters and I have never been there!). But we'll see.

I hope we can get an ADR at WCC. That is a good sign if you were able to get one for November.

Oh, Emma and I (and Claire if she wants to!) are planning on seeing it when it comes out. Even if that means being the oldest people in the theater. But you know, I don't really even care.

Hi everyone! TGIF! It's been a busy week. I subbed every day for the same teacher (actually...since last Friday and will be going again atleast Monday and Tuesday next week! ) which has been really nice. She's an educational assistant so she goes around and helps out in a bunch of different classes. It was cool getting to know a bunch of the students though I think some of the other teachers are starting to get annoyed that she hasn't been there (atleast it seems like it to me). The only bad thing is that now I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. But I really like the school and the teachers I've met seem cool.

Back to the trip:
-We still haven't called about ADRs for the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Gotta get on that...

-With all the subbing I did this week I kind of lost track of how many days we've got to go...but it's 81! That means tomorrow it's time for another stroll down memory lane. Woo hoo! Stay tuned...

Ya for 81 days and the subbing job!!! I hope your not getting sick. I've been sick for the past 2 days and it's awful. Everyone that I work with has been out with an awful virus too. Not fun! Drink lots of OJ and think positive thoughts.
