Sooooo.....when is your first DVC trip?

Thank you. We love AKV, that was where Jessie and I stayed last year and it is such an exceptional resort. Since we were doing the 100 pts intro offer her dad had a choice between SSR and AKV. And since we likely wouldn't be using the THV much we figured AKV would be a better choice.

DW and DFIL plan on going with the in-laws next year, possibly in October again. As for me it may not be until 2011 that I can go as Jessie has made a stipulation that I cannot go until I've either graduated or made great strides toward getting my degree.

AKV is a fantastic resort. We truly loved our stay there. The pool at Kidani rocks and AKV restaurants cannot be beat!!!!

I do agree that snow is lovely and ski season is now upon us. However, it makes for terrible driving.

it's lovely as long as it stays off the road, sidewalk and my driveway....heck, it should just fall in the mountains.

I agree, although the average first measurable snow here in Denver is October 19th. We had some this last Thursday while Jessie and I were at WDW, but they are calling for another 8-14 inches starting tomorrow.

None this morning- thank goodness! It is blistering cold though and super windy! We got a 1/2 inch at my house but it melted on all but the rooftops. The mountains look gorgeous though. Again, if I could stay in my pj's and sip hot tea all day in front of the fire, I would the snow.
