Hi..

I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have cravings for the BAD foods. Like needing a sugar fix.

There's always tomorrow. Tell yourself that if you are say craving a candy bar. Tell yourself you can have one TOMORROW. This thread can be for support. If you are dealing with cravings, come here and talk about how nice it will be to have it TOMORROW.

I am on a program now that I don't feel hungry, but out of BAD habit, I wanted to buy a snickers bar yesterday. I didn't need it, I wasn't hungry. So I told myself I can buy one TOMORROW. It worked. So today is no longer TOMORROW. If I get the same urge today, I will tell myelf TOMORROW.
 
hey, thats me the procrastinator! I do that all the time, as a matter of fact I just posted something similar to this thought on the choc-o-holic thread! I tell myself, its (the bad stuff) isn't going anywhere, it will be there tomorrow! Usually works! Tomorrow comes, and I hold off one more day!~:thumbsup2
 
:thumbsup2 Great idea. I WISH I read this before I fell off today. Yeah, that chocolate cookie did me in already. I've now jumped back after feeling horrible about it so I'm moving forward. I will make sure I do well the rest of the day. I will never get to goal doing this kind of thing.

Great thread!!! I sure need this one! I have a TERRIBLE sweet tooth. I am a lifetime WW, but have gained some weight back since the holidays! I am in the frustration mode right now and need to really get back on track and count EVERYTHING I eat! I did very well today though. Stayed in my points limit, exercised at the gym for 1 hour. We went out to eat for my son's birthday to Old Country Buffet, and I wrote everything down while I was there! My mom thinks I am crazy:rolleyes: , but it does work to keep track of EVERYTHING I eat. I took a Hoodia tablet before dinner, and I really do think it worked to keep me from eating too much. Maybe it is a mental thing, but I didn't find myself craving the sweets while there. I had no cheesecake, which is my weakness! So, today was a good day! Tommorow will be too, I hope!!! I am determined to lose a few pounds so I can look good for the warmer months coming up!!!:goodvibes
 

I just ate a horrible lunch of soup, french fries and oreo pudding parfait. I hate it when I do this. It's funny because I do feel healthy and energetic when I eat right, and when I eat badly I end feeling tired and my stomach is telling me it really is not happy.
But I feel confident that I can get back on track for the rest of the day. :mad:
 
OK, here is my big craving..it hits me everyday around 4 pm...I want to stuff my face with Reese Peanut Butter Puffs -the cereal!!!! I could eat the whole box I think. I am pretty good about measuring out one serving and stopping there, but once and I while, I just keep filling the bowl.... I have told my husband not to buy it, but somehow, there it is in my cabinet!!! I am going to try this strategy...tomorrow I will have cereal...tomorrow.... hang in there everyone!!!
