There is the Pin event in September !!!

But they changed location .....

we all wondered why they did change the event date to end of june and now we know ... the D23 expo in Anaheim happens exactly at the usual pin event weekend 10-13th of september and to quote from the D23 website:

Also nearby is the expansive Collectors Forum, where fans can buy, sell and trade from their Disney collectibles. The Forum will feature a massive Pin Trading headquarters — perfect for both casual collectors and ardent enthusiasts.

So my prediction is : The Epcot pin event as we know it will happen the last time this year. There will be smaller events at WDW , but the "BIG ONE" will take place at DL for at least the next 4 years and the mouse wants us to shell out more money on more collectibles, the club, t-shirts ....

I believe you are right. Now I have to rethink my Sept 3rd to Sept 10th Land/Sea Vacation. It'll cost us $$$ to either cancel the cruise and eat the cost of our non-refundable air fare, or do both. WOW,,, what a choice......
