Someone please help me or at least tell me I'm not alone! :confused3 We returned from the 7 day Western on the Magic May 14th. Since then, I'm on these boards 3-4 times a day and last night I got weepy :sad1: watching the DCL on the Travel Channel. Granted, we had the most "magical" :wizard: vacation we've ever had but shouldn't I just get over it???? And no, we didn't rebook and can't in the near future as our eldest is just starting college. Does anyone else out there have this "disease"???? :confused3

I'm right with you, Momeska! We've been back from our Land/Sea Adventure for almost two weeks and I can't seem to get over the fact that we are home. We didn't rebook, either, but we are looking at potential dates. I know that I can't necessarily recapture the magic of planning our first trip by scheduling another, but it was such an outstanding vacation, that I can't imagine not going back again as soon as possible.

My name is Jrsy B. and I'm a Disneyholic...

Hi, my name is Tae Ja and I'm a DCL, DISboard, and Disneyaholic as well. My post count gets higher and higher; I don't understand why. :confused3 :rotfl: Best advice I can give you is to keep in touch w/ your cruise meets friends. Our 9/04 cruise group is still alive and we are now planning 2006 Wonder/Magic trips.

I am also a card carrying member of the "I need to go back on DCL club"....

It never eases...actually the only way it eases a bit is to have another cruise booked.....

You are most DEFINITELY NOT alone in that club...I think everyone here has your affliction in some way or another...

Either we're awaiting a cruise (a lot of times the wait for a cruise is more than a YEAR!!! :hourglass ) And the time just goes by soooooo sloooooooow... :rolleyes1

Or we just got back from a cruise (like you) and we're already missing it greatly!!! :sad2:

*SIGH* Yes, we're all proud card-toting members!!!

We're here for you...just hang in there. :grouphug:

Hi Linda :grouphug: Being the fact that I just was on the same cruise as you, I can totally relate. Everytime I walk past the computer I am compelled to check the DisBoards :badpc: We did rebook (same week next year), so I suppose that makes it somewhat easier. I couldn't get myself to watch the Travel Channel last night though. :sad2: Hang in there....it has to get easier? :confused3

4 sailings done, 2 more already booked and over 2200 posts.......yes, I admit....I AM a "dis dork" :rotfl2:

These vacations, land or sea, are the best vacations ever. That's why these boards exist. It's for fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, money spending, Mickey-loving, goofy-feeling, prince/princess wantabe, never fully grew up or old, disney fanatics!

WELCOME TO THE MADNESS!

It is called PCD...Post Cruise Depression. It hits you even when you leave the ship with another cruise booked.

Hi Linda & Susan,
I also am missing the cruise. Do you find your self comparing every thing else to the cruise? The other night my husband and I were having dinner out. Of course he said this doesn"t compare ot Palo's. NOTHING DOES!
Mousemanicdeb's daughter pertends she is still on the cruise. She'll say today I'm in Key West ect.. One night Deb came home. DD had a sign on the door
"WELCOME HOME TO THE DISNEY MAGIC". Maybe we should all pertend we're on the cruise for ever. I have another cruise scheduled but it takes for ever. I'm so addicted, I couldn't live without having another planned.

We all need to start AA for DCL addicts. I'll be the #1 addict.
I miss talking to you all, Like we did before the cruise. keep in touch
Debbie

I know exactly what you mean -- I'm glad to hear there are others out there like me. I check these at least once a day to see what's new and daydream that I am still on the boat! We returned from a land/sea early May and that's all we talk about is when can we book another. Hoping for possibly next November or waiting for early 07. Can't wait! :hourglass

Hi Mommommouse!!!

Geez.....I can't even post correctly :rotfl: Sorry for the duplicate above. I was once again :rolleyes1 passing by the computer, and thought I didn't "submit" my message. Sorry. Yes, I miss talking with everyone too. I only came on these boards a couple weeks before we sailed, so I can only imagine how you long termers feel. :goodvibes I just bought the new Passporter that came out. I have learned SO much from all of you, that I really don't think the book told me much. I still felt the need to buy it anyway. I'll happily join the circle of DCL addicts

Gosh...thanks, guys...group hug! :grouphug: So it's like a Post-Traumatic-Cruise-Disorder??? Do we medicate it with Bahama-Mamas or what?
And yes, Debbie, I do find myself comparing everything. My sister decided to go on a cruise next Easter and I told her how great DCL is and that she must go. She comparison shopped....HAH!!! She told me they're going on the Norwegian Dawn, to which I said, "Suit yourself...but Disney's better". As if I know...this was my first cruise ever. But Disney's better than everything, right? So, what do we do now, start friends of Mickey meetings? :earboy2:
:wave2: Linda

Nope, by no means are you alone. The DH and I cruised back in Jan. on the 3-night Wonder, and now I am at wits end trying to get another one booked! Arrrgh! pirate:

Ok, count me in...

We were on the same cruise as Jrsy Boy..I wanna go back....

We have another one booked for 2006, but that seems like its too long to wait. I check the boards several times a day, and check the cruise meets to see if anyone from the cruise posted. PITIFUL.

Right now I am trying to convince DH to take a 3 night cruise in Jan to mark the halfway point till July 06. I think I need a serious intervention.

There is no cure. A temporary "fix" booking another one will help. But unless you can re-book over and over, you'll always be addicted!!!

After each of the "last" 3 cruises, I didn't think I would ever go again. But I'm booked for 6-2006.

I will be in the same boat you are come 7-2006 because another cruise will not be in our plans unless ds decides he doesn't want to go to college. :scratchin That really does have a negative and a positive side to it!!!

Well, 2 things could happen......We could win the lottery :rotfl2: :rotfl2: or my ds could win a full scholarship for 4 years, but we won't know that until the year 2009.
It could be a very long wait! :rolleyes1

I guess I'd better start playing the lottery often!!!!

We rebooked on board so I wouldn't have Post cruise depression. I have no idea where we are going to come up with the money, but I have til 2007 to find it!
