Themed Rooms

Would'nt it be interesting if Disney had themed rooms based of some of their movies. For the little ones, Winnie the pooh rooms where the beds and night tables looked like the ones winnie the pooh has, or pirate rooms where their beds could be in the shape of pirate boats and a mast for the head board, a chest to put their goodies from the park or keep their clothes in instead of a dresser. Different rooms based on the many princess's. Evil rooms (oops, sorry those are for mum and dad):rotfl2: The ideas would be endless. I'm surprised that Disney has never thought of this.
Any thoughts!

I like your ideas (especially the Evil room:rolleyes1 )
perhaps you should pass your thoughts along to Disney management.
Like could have entire floors dedicated to Pirates and Princesses as a start?:thumbsup2

Yeah! I'm surprised Disney hasn't thought of this yet, since they could charge more $$$ for those rooms. Maybe having all those extra categories would be a pain, though. But I think kids would really get a kick out of staying in a room that matched their favorite movie, from Little Mermaid to Peter Pan to Lion King -- that would be cool!:yay:

my room is themed with battery and electronics chargers, along with dirty laundry.

Let's face it, I wouldn't mind staying in the pirates room. Maybe Capt. Jack could come tuck me in at night! :rotfl:

Why not just do whole sections of the resorts like that. Maybe a villian building, a pirate building, a princess building, you know kinda like the different sections at the value resorts. They could have large Cpt Jack, Will Truner, and Elizabeth Swann icons, or Maleficient, Cpt Hook, Scar icons and all the Princesses.

This would be fantastic! I have seen pictures of rentable houses in the DW area that have rooms like this. The kids rooms in the houses are completely done up DW style in a theme.

I think taking one of the values, or moderates and doing a few floors would be great!

I like the idea of having themed resorts as well. Everyone talks about having Disney magic 24/7, but face it, once you are back at the resorts the rooms are just regular rooms. There may be a mickey lamp or a hidden mickey on the bedspread, but that's it. The pools are great to, but even they could have alittle more Disney magic, although the values do have some Disney character's around their pools. Think of walking into Mickey or Minnie's house in Toontown, imagine if this was your childs room to sleep in for their vacation. The look on their face when they walked into their room would be priceless, something they would never forget.

Sounds like a great idea but I think the popularity of these rooms would quickly become a problem. Heck, Disney had to crack down on dining reservations because people were making seatings and then selling them.
